Blood levels came back good, but my hemoglobin was high. He suggested I go give some blood. Is this normal when on HRT? Thanks
It does happen, not often. You may have had higher than average hematocrit before or when you were younger with higher T then.
That can raise your blood pressure.
Actually guys, it is not that unusual (according to my doc who is an expert on TRT. I also have a higher amount of hemoglobin in my blood. My doc suggested that I donate blood every 4 months to avoid the excessive strain on my kidneys. So, Brody, I suggest you take similar advice.
