Calories With an AD Bulk

How many cal per bodywieght do i consume on the bulk phase of the AD? I looked at the AD bulk in an article(eating like a man i think it was) but that manys calories seems really hard to get to with high fat foods.

Id start with what the article says and adjust it to fit you from there

Looking at my copy of the AD right now Dr. D suggests starting at 20x-25x your desired weight. IE if you weight 190 now and you want to be 200 in the same leannness you’ll be at 4000-5000 calories. It’s a lot of food but look for ways to sneak in the calories, nuts oils in your shakes etc.

Drink olive oil.

You couldn’t more off base. High fat foods are the easiest to get your calories with. I could eat 10,000 calories a day easily if all I eat are high fat foods. Hell on the AD it’s hard not to eat too much.

I absolutely agree. I easily, I mean with no effort whatsoever get 5000 a day and could accidentally eat a helluva lot more if I let myself. I think this guy is a bit mixed up on his macro info. Carbs and protein are 4 calories a gram and fat is 9.

i think he means taht it’s quite filling having lots of fatty cuts of meat etc. At least, I find it far more filling than just gorging myself on cereal/carbohydrate drniks.
