Ryu - I live in NI too, where do you buy your stuff/train?

Live outside Dungannon Tyrone buy my stuff in Cookstown - a chemists there stocks creatine and protein powders.

Cool, Im in Bangor and we have a supplement shop in town. My girlfriend is from Ballymena where the N.I. Maximuscle branch is, not that I’ll be using Maximuscle again!![/quote]

lol Ballymena is like the hotel california - check in any time you like, but you can never leave - with the one way system and roundabouts.

Which online retailer are we talking about?
pm me if you don’t want to post it please.

Me too please, this thread has made me decide that I just gotta try some Biotest stuff. Actually maybe this thread will make T-Nation/Biotest see that theres a market for them here and sort out some decent arrangements for us to get their products.

I agree entirely. Biotest are completely missing out on a huge market over here that is begging for more quality at a cheaper price. I would love to buy it but 40quid (60-70 dollars) for a tub of grow? No thanks. You can get it a little cheaper but not a whole load. Cost-wise, it’s just not feasable. I buy from MyProtein and get along just fine but if Biotest found a way to produce/export here and keep costs low, I would definitely give it a shot.

They sell supplements in Asda (Wal-Mart) if Wal-Mart in the States sells Biotest, maybe the Biotest guys should speak to someone at Wal-Mart and get them to sell it over here. UK supermarkets have, as far as I can see, the largest range of foods and drinks of any supermarkets in any countries I’ve been to, US included. I’m not sure why this is, but whenever I’ve been in the US I noticed the range of foods is greatly reduced compared to my local Asda or Tesco. I’m talking about huge Supermarkets in the States and not little shops the size of Spar or Circle K.

Asda already sell some brand of whey and creatine not noticed who makes it.

Nice one, cant wait to hit her with that!!!

HEAR THAT Biotest???

god that would be cool… popin to asda to get some Grow!. oh yeah. come on!!

Really!? Not my local Asda!

In case no-one’s aware of it, T-Nation is planning on shipping outside the US using USPS, which is way cheaper than FedEx. They announced it some 6-8 weeks ago, and said it would take a while to set up.

I’m not sure it will be worth it for the protein, but it will certainly work out great with the other supps as they’re small, light containers.

Ok from memory Asda (Pre-Wall-Mart) used to sell Weider now I took my ass down there today and they were selling

Maximuscle

in the pharmacy bit.

Maximuscle have a pretty extensive range and even whilst I was there two dudes were buying some, so its moves well.

Can’t see Biotest getting in there then, the Asda UK people obviously done deals with Maximuscle.

We could try and organise some kind of bulk order to save on shipping?

Good to hear there are no customs problems here.

Depends on the Customs thing, I order guitar bits from this place in Ohio and they come ok, had Ash Strat bodies worth $500 come through to UK no probs. However a friend ordered an ECU or something similar for his 91 Camaro and they charged his ass import duty on it. What gives !

I would love to know where people are getting Biotest cheaply in the UK as I would love to give Surge and Grow! a go.
Am using HOT-ROX at the moment and it cost me ?43 for the Fat-Loss Phenomenom version (i.e. not max-strength). think that is an ok price, but the same site had Grow! at ?40 for a kilo and that is oo much I’m afraid.
And Surge works out at about ?3+ per serving over here.
Anyone have an alternative to Surge til we can get it for good money?

i’m ordering a boatload of greens+ [Berardi’s favourite] in the Leicester area, if anyone is having trouble getting that

if anyone is up for a giant uk order - you can count me in.

Well whoever it is that runs the Biotest.co.uk site used to do me a bulk order; whereby if I ordered ?250 of stuff (ex VAT price) then he would not charge me that VAT.

That was about 2 years ago though. In any case, just email them asking about bulk orders, they may still offer a similar service.

So while we’re at it, what about opinions on other health shops/foods like Holland & Barrett and Seven Seas cod liver/fish oil??

Well, I buy my fish oil caps from Holland & Barrett, but everything else seems pretty expensive. (The costs of actually owning a high-street shop I guess?).

Legend do you think you could pm me how much it worked out for the Greens+ you ordered. I can’t afford the ?40 a bottle it costs over here. Cheers.

I buy Tesco healthy living Cottage cheese at 60p per 300g serving, which has 42.9g of protein and 4.5g fat.

The larger chains sell them in bigger half a kilo pots which works out even cheaper.

I try to go through at least one a day plus a can of Tuna.

Does anyone else have any cheap alternatives for those on a budget?

USN ireland. Best place ever. Free delivery and 25% off when you order 4 or more products from their website. Its brilliant. Comes to my door in two days. Thats the only stuff i use.

And holland and Barrett = $$$$$$$$$$$

I live near Dublin
