Bikejames I wish I was your neighbor so I could come over and play. I would so help build and ride that stuff. Good balance over the beams. I’m impressed! Love the pics too. Is that you dropping off that rock? Keep putting up the pics cause I don’t get tired of looking at them.
We will hit Whistler this summer. Now you’ve got me all xcited about it again. I’ll see if I can get some pics up soon too.
Gordmx me and the boys live about 45 minutes south of Seatle. We ride alot around Greenwater. Lots of mountain riding. Beautiful country. Did some great down hilling at Capital forest in Olympia last weekend. Shuttled twice to do it cause it was so fun the 1st time.
Thanks for the imput on the Cove bikes. I was just check’n it(website) out the other day. Jensonusa.com sells the G spot frame too. Will see in about 3 months.
Bikejames, nice work. I love building (and riding) that stuff. First sunny day here in a while so its gonna be fun riding this weekend.
Anyone training specifically for mtb or have a mtb related programs? I’ve just started a King based program for the winter. Just curious as to what others are doing…
Ain’t DH/FR, but kinda related…I’m the one wearing the cut up T-Mag shirt having a midair conversation with the guy to my left in practice at a national this past weekend.
Edit: let’s try to post this pic again.
I’m a trials rider. . . close but no cigar.
STU

Bam!
Great picture, I had almost forgot how much fun BMX was. Could be time for a new bike…

Okay this isnt a sick downhill shot but it was a sick climb. This is at Groom Creek in Prescott Arizona. Im riding a Gary Fisher Sugar.

CRESTED BUTTE IS THE SHIT! I was out there this summer and started at our condo and did the Lower Loop and then rode out to Deer Creek Trail and I was SMOKED after that. That was one hell of a way to get broke into high elevation. We also rode Gothic Road out to Schofield pass which was a bitch to climb and we hit the 401 Trailhead from there. After another 700 ft of climbing the view was amazing ( we could see the Maroon Bells fromt he top. The real fun began on the way down and I have to say that the ride down was one of the best experiences in my life. I was grinning ear to ear the whole way down, even when I went over the bars in the waterfall. I never got to do Teocali Ridge but I should get to it this summer.
Schofield to 401 is a good warm up. One of my favs from town is to head up to Snodgrass cross over to Washington Gulch, climb up to 403, drop down 403 to Gothic Road, climb Schofield to 401 and descend 401, get a shower, and head to Donita’s Cantina.
Reno/Flag Creek/Bear Creek/Deadman’s Gulch as awesome as well.
It’s tough to go wrong with any of the trails in the area, though.
Nice pics!

I’m obsessed with mountain biking, but, due to not being able to drive, and have a shitty MTB location, I can’t go that often. Come May 7, 2006, I will own a brand new Kona Stinky Primo or Orange DD 224. I am so excited to go on road trips all around!
Oh, and a fun story. Here in Az, we have a place me and my buddies call, “The Pit” up in the McDowell Mountains. One time I was going off about an 8 footer and went faster than I had room to fly.
Well basically i ended up flipped over into a stash of nice big rocks, with my face down, and my lip stuck in my rear crank. Apparently I had gone over my front bar and before I hit the ground, my bike swung under my head and tore up my face. Pretty kick ass scars/wounds. Awwww… the days without a full face:)
