Isn’t it enough to gain 1-2 kg bw per month?
Yeah, it can be “enough,” but you could probably do a bit more. And 1-2 kg a month won’t make much difference unless it’s for like…20+ months. 1 or 2 months won’t really affect things much.
I have never ever before in my life read that gaining more than 2 kg per month is a good decision. How do you get to this decision?
I get the vibe your in your early teens for some reason…
I am just saying what I have read about this.
Im talking about your physical structure in the video… Not being insulting. But as already has been asked by another member your age does have a impact on the advice people will give you.
i am 26
current body weight and height?
Dude, it’s a pull up. It might not be picture perfect, but it would be pretty hard to fuck it up. It’s a pull up. You grab the bar and pull yourself up.
That depends on your starting point, surely?
Have you been gaining 1-2kg per month? For how long?
I didn’t say it was a good decision. You said, “is it enough?” Like you wanted to do the bare minimum. All I said was that it’d be possible to gain more than that. And that you needed to gain that much per month, for more than 1 month.
dude. look in the mirror. you’re tiny. You can’t expect to be strong when you haven’t eaten sufficiently to be any bigger than you are in that video.
that’s what I got. I figured he was around 14, especially after I saw his video and how skinny he was. Until he answered with…
I’m floored. You have the body of a young teenage boy.
So others have asked, but I’ll ask it again in a more specific way.
When you first started training to be stronger, how much did you weigh? And what do you weigh today?
Yeah … im interested to hear his full back story also.
Just to clarify OP, the posters above have helped plenty of people on this site get bigger and stronger. If you can put ego aside for a moment and be open and honest, I’m confident you’ll get the advice you need.
There’s plenty of beginners come on here asking for advice who get butt hurt when it’s given to them in an abrupt way. It’s rare to see them make progress. There’s also a rare few who come on here with the students mindset, put their ego aside and learn from the experienced and accomplished posters. They frequently go on to great things. Be like those guys.
Well…FUCK! That leaves me out!
@isdatnutty comes to mind. The dude has made INCREDIBLE progress, and was definitely one of those guys who got a lot of hard truths thrown at him when he first showed up here. I never expect guys like him to last. He’s pretty exceptional.
@isdatnutty
Would love to see one of your early threads up in here
current 183cm and 71kg. Still can be bad form for a chin/pull. last 3 months in 2018 → https://i.imgur.com/nkr9Jr2.png diet starting with 1st january → https://i.imgur.com/PBMSrS4.png
I think in the last 3 months from 2018, started with like 78 kg, up to 81kg, where I gained 1-2 kg monthly, I was doing bw RR but I tracked the routine on another app.
Humans can only build so much muscle per month. Why should I gain 4 kg per month then? 1kg muscle and 3 kg fat for example.
I prefer to be the guy who isn’t strong but has decent muscle mass, like I often read online ,that there are people who can’t lift shit and look muscular though.
Dawg, I know what 183cm and 71kg looks like
You look more like 160cm and 50-60kg
In that video I was more like 81 kg
