Buying A Food Processor?

I plan on buying a blender soon by KitchenAid.

Well, I saw a combo blender/food processor that they also sell.

Should i pay the extra money and get this?

If it was me I would. I have one of each and use them constantly.

What do you use the food processor for?

All my food during the week goes in the processor for work. Much easier than taking a bunch of different whole foods.

Do you put meat or anything in there? Does it help consume it all without feeling like you’re going to yak it up?

Everything. I’m eating the AD way now and everything except the fish oil capsules goes in the processor. Example? Half pound of grilled ground beef, 6 whole boiled eggs. half cup of canned salmon including bones, 3 tablespoons EVOO, a tablespoon of flax meal, a bunch of my wife’s homegrown greens, (mustard, collard, kale), 2 celery stalks, 1 big clove of raw garlic, 1/4 cup raw oatmeal, a couple cherry tomatoes, one each of Twinlab multi vitamins and minerals, 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar and a teaspoon of cinnamon.

Start er whirlin and add enough water to make it a bit lumpy and not as pureed as baby food. Eat it 4 times while at work with 3 fish oil caps each time. Quick convenient and oh so nutritious. I'll throw in variations with more salmon or some beef liver, adjusting accordingly.

Taste means nothing to me. I’m so used to it it doesn’t affect me one way or another, I just eat it. Excellent digestability as you can imagine. Mechanically pre-chewed.

Not for everybody and not representative of how one must eat on the anabolic diet, but that’s how I do it and I like it. No muss, no fuss at work. It takes a grand total of maybe 5 minutes to eat (with a spoon) all 4 times combined.

Tomorrow’s anabolic glop. MMMM MMMM GOOD!!! Actually this is partly for my wife too.

That looks…disgusting.

Nonsense man, surely you jest!!! That is a true culinary delight. Everything a growing boy needs. Actually it’s not in my mouth long enough for how it tastes to make any difference. All about convenience.

I’m about ready to throw my processor off the roof. It’s terrible. Which one have you had good experiences with? Looking for a processor which comes a long lifetime. Is anyone familiar with robot coupe processors? more details here. Thanks.

I have a cuisinart processor/blender that I’ve had for about 10 years already and it’s showing no sign of age at all. Glad I spent the extra money on a quality applicant.

One link said $1,400+ and one said $1,700+
You would have to be out of your ever loving mind to pay that for a food processor.
I doubt you are fishing in the right pond here.

I have a food processor and is so annoying to clean :cold_sweat:. I do have a good blender though. My blender makes it so I can cram a gazillion calories in a glass. I have “her” to thank for helping me keep on the poundage and when I needed to gain.
