Pullups descending 8-1 reps

Okay well that was the workout for the day. I crammed 2 exercises together, going to start my de-load week tomorrow instead of Friday… Every now and then I over do one thing in my life and start to get a bit over taxed, my joints start complaining and just need me to slow down a notch. So that is my plan for the next week, slow it down and deload from the workouts a bit. I need to make my way into the chiro and get my back adjusted. About mid-back I can feel my left erector is a bit more inflammed than my other, thinking an adjustment will help this. I have tried everything else on it and this is the only reason that I can think of it not getting back to were it should be. I am planning on doing only Bodyweight stuff during the de-load week. Still need to get my 200 burpees in for the week and my pullups.

^Great squats numbers. Much like pull-ups, dips are just natural raw power. & they make you strong. I think you’re in need of a nice de-load. Enjoy it.

Print - yea I love straight up powerful movements like that.

mim- yea i try to do 200 a week til the end of the year. I find they are good to keep in my routine, keeps from getting to relaxed in my program.

N- consider it done, since I am the only one that will get it done.

Workout for the day

35 pullups (thru out the day, sets of 5 every time I walked by the pullup bar)

220 burpees - did 21 - 1 minute rounds, average about 12 a minute.

I like that idea of random burpees.

I’m sure that you deserve that deload, sheesh. Your erectors look fine from here but I hope you get that sorted out.

I like the random pull ups.
I bought a bar to hang, but it doesn’t fit in any of our door frames…grrr


MIM - yea those door pullups bars are pretty particular about where they will fit at. I only have 2 doors in my house that it fits in, I have a pullup bar outside and one in the garage though. I try not to go by a pullup bar with out doing one (even in public I do).
