If you have been on another planet for the last week or two then T-Nations very own Bushido needs a character reference off you.
He was caught with some steriods most of which were not even his, but regardless of that fact is being hauled before a judge.
His lawyer has since advised that he obtain as many character references as he can humanly get people to write…
He would write this himself but lost the internet in his house at the moment, so myself or another T-Nation member by the name of “AlteredState” will be able to supply his name and address to post said reference to.
Please emphasize why he has helped YOU over the years or any specific way he has improved your life, the soppier and more feeling put into it the better it is

I hope as many people do this as possible, as dis-connected as people are over the internet, it is possible to meet people as upstanding and kind as Bushido.
I also hope, that people take 10-15 minutes off this forum, and on MS-Word or the like and write off a reference and please SIGN it at the bottom.
Although I have never met ___ in person, I have interacted many times with him via the internet. We are both members of a very popular fitness and bodybuilding website. It would be a lie to say that we are great friends, but I do have a great deal of respect for the way ____ conducts himself in the electronic arena.
Whilst we have certainly had our differences of opinion, ____ has always remained polite and courteous, even in the face of heated discussion on the part of others. He is a cool head and a diplomatic communicator. He is always prepared to admit when he is wrong; something which is very rare in a world where everyone hands out advice and everyone always seems to be right.
Whilst I may not agree with his use of performance enhancing drugs, due to my religious nature, I do admire the level of help and assistance that he offers on the topic. He has certainly made a massive positive impact on the steroid using populace of our online community and is held in high regard due to his unceasing willingness to help and the time it must cost him to do so. People regularly ask him for his time and help and he gives it willingly and without complaint.
And ____'s advice is not confined to performance enhancing drugs either. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience in nutrition, exercise, injury and rehabilitation, gathered from his medical training.
It would seem that ____'s nature is to be helpful, almost to a fault, and I would suspect that most of his alleged steroid �??dealings�?? were more as a means of assisting others than to willfully set out to make a profit or to break the law.
He is a benefit to our community and would be sorely missed if incarcerated.
I am sorry, but I can not think of many worse (well-intentioned) things to put before a judge.
In his original post, he asked for people to provide references for non-steroid related advice (or that is how I took it).
Telling a judge that he is giving advice about illegal drugs online is not the way to convince him to be lenient. It is the way to make him look entrenched.
Sigh, this was discussed in the last thread, before it had to be removed for “technical” reasons.
a)Bushy is in his final year med, so he would KNOW about steroids anyway, my mate is in his last year and he would have around the same knowledge.
b)The judge KNOWS Bushy knows about steroids
c)That template will OBVIOUSLY not suit people with no roid expierience, like i have written about how he has/is helping me with my cancer shit… other people can write about other stuff.
d)I hope by you expressing your opinion you will write a reference to show me and others and mail it off to him

I am actually thinking that it may do more harm because we are just online “chums” and not anyone tha tknows him personaly
but on the other hand its just more stuff he can hand his lawyer and say “do what you can with this”
if he or his lawyer chooses against it its up to them but atleast they have that ammo

Was I making light of the situation yes. But lets get real here. Use your brain for a second. Given the content of this forum, along with the reason for his arrest and his posts on it he is a fool to even mention it.
Why isn’t Bushi making the request himself??? We are told he’s been arrested with an amount of steroids that was greater than a personal use amount.
If it was personal use he would be out of jail already. So sorry bushi but when I hear that someone I don’t really know has been arrested and someone else I don’t know is requesting that we help him by sending in letters with our names and address on it, I smell a rat.
