Bush Cheating

While I don’t believe it I have seen some who think Bush was wearing a wire during the debate. I think it’s horse shit but it holds as much weight as Kerry pulling out a pen.

More likely it was a bullet proof vest, but you knever know.

Besides Maybe bush wears a communications device at all times now since he was criticised for not acting fast enough (7 minutes?) after 9/11. This way they can save the 20-30 seconds of someone walking over to him and saying it.

Was Bush wearing a wire trying to catch Kerry on record as saying something?

I could see that.

that is stupid. He wasn’t cheating.

Also fueling the speculation that Bush was getting answers through an earpiece, Bush spurted out “Now let me finish!” during the middle of one of his answers.

However, Bush still had plenty of time (green light was on) and nobody in the room had said a word to interrupt him. Weird, huh?

It’s hard to talk and listen at the same time. Maybe that’s why Bush looked so bad during the first debate?

I saw that too lumpy. It makes you think, but I doubt Rove was giving Bush answers just for the simple fact that it would be impossilbe to debate that bad with someone giving him the answers.

P.S. I don’t belive the conspiracy theory but it is just about as relevent to the election as Kerry bringing in a pen to the debate.

Exactly, either was Kerry.

Jeff I saw the video yesterday, but I couldn’t get your link to work. But in this picture it sure looks like a pen.

Now Lump, you didn’t answer the other question in the Kerry Cheating thread, and you’ve already skipped here.

Here it is again:

  1. Did you download and watch the high res video?

If yes, the next question is-

  1. Did the item Kerry took out of his pocket resemble a-

a) black pen

b) small stack of 3 by 5 notecards

Mr. Chen,

Would you please re-post the link.

Mine didn’t work, apparently.

Thanks,

JeffR

Kevin,

The picture in the middle of the 2 video cut screens is imposed.

Download the original clip from here:

http://homepage.mac.com/cfj/.Movies/JFKCheat.mov

Note: When I open the high resolution video in my Quicktime player, it attempts to play at double size. Just choose movie, and then half size to bring it down to normal.

Here is what I, and the people I have ran it for, can see on the video:

K is walking to the podium with his back towards the audience. Just before he turns left to stop at the podium, he takes something out of his right breast pocket.

Now in front of the podium, we see him holding the item in his left hand in front of his body. It is clearly of rectangular shape above his fingers. Compared to the size of his hand, it is the size of 3 by 5 card(s). He then holds it briefly just above the top of the desk with both hands, as he looks down at it. I have held small stacks of 3 by 5s in my hands exactly in the posture we can see him taking on the video. You can even see his hands encircling the edges of the stack to straighten them up a little.

It is easier to see what he is doing from the zoomed left section of the video, so you loose resolution a little, but it is still pretty clear what he is doing.

It is definitely not a black pen.

Watch the video, I don’t think any impartial person will dispute my above description.

This links works, it’s about a 800kb download.

Mr. Chen,

You’re a regular Sherlock Holmes, huh? Cut it out, Bush was whacked in the first debate no matter how hard you try to make it not so!

Regarding the protrusion on Bush’s back: I noticed it during the debate, and I too, assumed it was a bullet proof vest. I was a little surprised that he’d be wearing one, though. Who knows, but I don’t think it was a wire.

This is foolish.

If Kerry had a piece of paper and smuggled it into the debate, what happened to it afterwards?

Did he fold it up again and put it back in his pocket? Did he leave it on the podium?

The New York Post already said he took out a pen. Other reputable sources already dismissed this stupid story. Mr. Chen knows better though. He also still believes in Santa Claus.

Here’s a clue Mr. Chen:

Not everybody has to judge this question based on a shitty Quicktime movie on the internet. Some people are able to look at the original video feed. Those people aren’t claiming Kerry cheated.

Did anyone actually watch the debate? Did it seem like Kerry needed any notes???

This story is just more evidence that some rabid Bushies aren’t very bright.

Probably put it back in his pocket.

Well if you’d rather believe what other people tell you to believe, that’s up to you.

Yes, and you too can look at part of what was recorded live during the debate as a Quicktime file on your very own computer. It wasn’t reenacted Lump. Afraid to view it?

Mr Chen
Any relation to Silas Chen?

I’m seeing some similarities in your logic and reasoning.

News flash… bump in president’s jacket revealed to be “brain pacemaker”.

From time to time when the president falters and can’t come up with his own thoughts this thing jolts his agression center so he’ll be ready to attack and invade something.

The jury is still out on whether this truly represents cheating or not since there is no real ability for Bush to actually receive information.

Bzzzt, arrrgh!

LOL vroom! Brain pacemakers… I know a few folks here at work that could use one of those. One question: if we installed one of those in you, would you suddenly start kickin’ everyone’s ass in hockey?

Well if he was cheating it was an absolutely shitty job…ha,heh,ha.

Trust me on this one. If you think you can prove he had cards on a shitty quicktime file (yes I’ve seen it) then a conservative media source that has access to tons of tapes would be able to prove it and tear him apart. If he was trying to sneak notes he would’ve done a much better job hiding it like palming them or something.
