BunnyQuest s6/ b4/ dl7/ Raw

Hope the shoulders are fine Bunzilla.
I haven’t benched for shit for several months now.
Your workouts are incredible, great work!

Thanks guys… DZ- Shoulders are “ok”… still having a few probs but choose to deal with it and eat the pain. I have accepted the fact that regardless of anything I do I will always have the pain. Lets me know I am alive anyways.

I too am working on Daddy’s day… late afternoon shift. My eldest son (military) is comin’ home for a few days this weekend so should be a good time.

Meat… at least you got a Harley! I have been trying to swing it with the old lady for years now… but with her working in the health care industry, and seeing the results of motorcycle injuries she is dead set against it. Let me put it this way, she call them “donor-cycles”. I have worn her down some though, she actually commented a couple of weeks ago about the neighbours new hog… “Honey, you would look great on one of those”. Maybe I should see if she upped the pay-out on my life insurance or something.

A friend of mine (welder/ air frame tech for the military) was lookin’ at the sled and the prowler on line, said if he got some dimensions he could make one of either for me, I would just have to pay for the materials. I might take himm up on this. Only problem is he means well, but he is one of those guys that would take about 6 months to get around to it.

Well… deadlift day today, time to get my ass in gear…

Strong work, Bunny. I’d have him make you a prowler. you can make a sled out of a tire any time you want for about $30. besides, Saint Jimmy Wendler swears by the prowler. I would aspire to one, but it won’t fit in the my outback like the tiresled does.

Hey, do you ever do the YTWLI shoulder warmup that I am constantly pimping? Its working really well for some of the other elder meatheads…

So jealous, I think I am going to get new brakes for my truck for daddy day.

yeah… i got a new battery for the Harley.

That reminds me of the year I got myself a new gas mower for mother’s day.

Hey MJ! I think you are right… I will just keep busting his balls until he finishes it. He owes me big time anyhow… looking after his house, looking after his dog for days on end, numerous times… looking after his son (ok, he is my God son, so that shouldn’t count, but for this purpose, I am counting it), running interference on his wife when he is up to no good, providing false alibis ('nuff said)… you know, normal guy shit.

Yeah… I have used the YTWLI, but have got away from it recently. I kind of made up my own bastardized version as well, but have even got away from that lately. Maybe I should start using it again before I end up with additional and or new injuries.

I find that lately I am so eager to get to the heavy stuff, I have shortened warmups… which is going to come back and bite me in the ass if I am not careful.

Me too, but every time i skip it my shoulders pay for it for about a month. I even do them on squat and deadlift days now.

Well, I guess I jinxed myself by talking about getting injured. I am actually not sure if I am injured, or just a really bad cramp… or maybe a strain or something. Hopefully nothing torn…

Gonna do some foam rolling tonight, drink lotsa water, and I have an appointment with a massage therapist tomorrow. I will know more tomorrow I guess.**

Here’s hopin’ it is just a cramp Bunny!

Maybe you have too make a poo?

haha

nice work- I betting cramp your a big guy and probably need a TON of water,
gatorade is always a good choice…

see how the foam rolling goes, hope the massage helps too.

kmc

rub some dirt on it pussy:)

Is it your time of month?

motrin I hear works good for cramps

ps: the sled I am getting has handles for pushing
if this helps the seller is xchoppers - call words for typing is dragging or pushing sled powerlifting strongman- you can atleast show your buddy how to make it.

pps: I used both a prowler and this sled before and this sled is way more portable.

OK, for all you f%$#@! comedians out there, it is not the ab cramp that has got me worried. I knew right off that it was a cramp/ spasm.

If you look a little further up that particular post, you will see a PR… then immediately below it, 630x1.5… it is this that has me concerned.

Woke up this morning… not so good. No bruising or discoloring… so it is isn’t torn. Headin’ to the therapy place… AFTER I put some dirt on it and take a handful of Midol… bastids… I knew I would find “sympathy” in the dictionary right between “shit” and “syphyllis”.

When you lift as much weight as you are these things are going to happen. Also, when you get as old as you have these things are going to happen.(just kidding)

Hey Bun! Hope the PT guy gives you passing marks. Down here in the humid South, its dirt first then some grease and pat in some sawdust. But dont forget to spit on the cramp area to clean it good…

Man you are a strong dude. I wish I could train with you!

just because you don’t have bruising, doesn’t mean you didn’t tear anything. it could be a tear deeper in. i’ve torn torso muscles that didn’t show blood pooling at all. I’m sure they were tears because i could hear the muscles tearing like a t-shirt.

just play it safe and don’t do anything that causes pain. work back into pulling slowly and be very progressive with the weight.

and…

wash the sand out of the vagggg:)

Maybe he forgot to douche?

Hope it isn’t anything serious. I think I walk around feeling like on giant injury some days.

Sounds like a suitable treatment plan… can I throw in some Jack Daniels for medicinal purposes too, lol!?

Yeah, I wish there was someone up here close by that I could train with, bummer sometimes. I could use the extra motivation. I have had offers to train with some guys (from my last meet), but they are 3-4 hours away driving. Not very suitable. Somewhere up here close by has to be someone in the same boat as me.
