Thanks Pete, Joe and Eco. Starting to get back into it… and yeah, my last meet was a 635 deadlift and just missed 385 bench, both raw. And you must have read my mind… shooting for a 650 dead and 385 bench next meet, squat… dunno yet. Somewhere around 500 to 520 I think. This year wanna hit 400 bench, 700 deadlift and 600 squat, all raw.

Might even get into the gear this year, for some shits and giggles. Can’t let Pete be the only whore in these parts…

Thanks Steel… Pete… you got cookies and booze over there, I could be persuaded…

Trained with some guys and gals at a gym in the city that are competing at the Nationals in April this year… actually seen people putting gear on and stuff, does not look fun. One of the ladies had a brand new squat suit… another one had a brand new bench shirt… marked them up pretty good (their skin). I was the only one lifting raw, which was interesting.

When the girl with the new squat suit finsihed her training, and tried to get the suit off… she almost lost her shit… it would not come off her legs. She was getting so pissed, and was in some serious pain, she was ready to cut it off. Her legs were so pumped, no way the thing would come off.

They gave me some good tips and critique with my squats and bench… yeah, thats right… did 5/3/1 squats and 5/3/1 bench this afternoon. Freakin’ burnt…

this was it… benching felt really heavy though for some reason… plus there was 6 of us lifting, so the pins were moved constantly, heights moved, helping people put suits on, changing weights non stop… but it was fun and a learning experience. May do some accessory stuff tomorrow or Monday… supposed to be deload this week… yay
