Bulldog : Coming Back ON HOLD

I can’t wait to hear about that seminar. Wow.

I’m sorry that you’re bailing on the meet because it seemed like you were primed for an impressive total. But there’s always another meet.

so does that mean the weight lose is in the works… just curious cause your training is more interesting than mine strength wise. I to and excited to hear what you learn at the seminar.

Well I wouldnt say I bailed exactly…But it came down to doing the seminar or doing the Meet. Because , if I decided to do both id end up probably sabotaging myself come Meet time. Besides I could not pass up the opportunity to get some advice from lifters whom are at the next level. Here are the four that will be there.

Ed Coan, Brian Siders, Jeremy Hartman, and Mike Tuchscherer

Great job on the squats.

Time will tell

Benched tonight still feeling the effects from squatting heavy the other day. Since im not doing a Meet now I went ahead and sorta got stupid today.

warm up: Light Db& band movements

Bench: Bar x 20
95 x 2 x 10
135 x 2 x 5
215 x 5
250 x 5
290 x 3
320 x 2
340 x 1 …paused
360 x 1… slight pause
385 x 1… paused but not long. Ugh, Felt heavy taking it out more so then it should have.
At this point I got a wild hair for no real good reason and dusted off the Slingshot.
405 x 4… pretty ugly ,almost got 5 but couldnt lock it out

One more week until I get to meet Ed Coan in person

Looked strong to me Dog. Maybe I’m crazy but it looks like you could benefit from a little wider bench, it seemed like you were shifting all around during a couple of the sets. Balance on the bench looked to be more of an issue than strength.
