Bulking or Cutting, Whats Harder?

The thing is, when someone is “cutting” they’re still hitting the iron, but at a calorie deficit.

It doesn’t matter how long someone sticks with bodybuilding. They (hopefully) don’t bulk for 15 years. Bulking and cutting are components of bodybuilding. The question is, If you’re (thank you) a long term or a short term, which is harder a bulking phase or a cutting?

I say cutting because it goes against nature. Being in a state of calorie restriction goes against the survival instinct.

Good point. Plus from my standpoint I put on fat very easily, so even when I’m not competing I still have to be careful with what I’m eating…otherwise I’ll blow up like the Michelin Man. So for me, I am on a perpetual diet, so to speak…
