Bulking cycle advice

Even though you may be the same height as the OP he obviously has great genetics and looks amazing. You seem to have become and instant fanboy and want to mimic what he is doing.
I would suggest finding/doing what works for you.
Do you have a log on this site? If not start one and so you can be helped on your own post.

Thanks for the suggestion. I just might do this. I’ve literally never posted on any fitness forum until now.

I’ve totally become a fan because before I thought I had to be at least 6 feet (183cm) to look like a bodybuilder.

@Angmar tag me too. I’m not a bb, but interested in your progress. How old are you?

Well I only have this picture of my thigh which was when I was cutting, so around Feb/March:

I don’t neglect them however I do think they deserve to be a bigger, especially the outter part and calves are a struggle. They are not visible here and they are not too small but severely lacking volume. I can’t seem to figure out yet the best way to proceed haha. So genetically they are my biggest weakness.

Regarding the last question, I’m nearly 34 yo and yes I will tag you when I post progress

Actually the opposite is true. The taller you harder the harder is it to fill out your frame. If you look at the majority of pro open guys they are well under 6’. I think Derek Lunsford is 5’”5” or 5’6”.
The guy in this thread is a genetic freak. He looks amazing.

Thank you!!

Personally I think that I am quite lucky in terms of genetic but not to the point I am a freak. My chest has a “hole” between each pec, I would have loved to have them way closer, it’s hard to fill the middle part and my calves are lazy as hell.

I must also say that I have made too many mistakes in my early years of workouts by listening wrong advice on training or looking for “what’s the best exercise for this or that”.

Now I’m totally focusing on trying to catch up on all my weaknesses to look more coherent.

The best thing you can do is find a good training plan. I went to the gym for years and trained super hard and got good results but once I started using structured plans it was a whole different game. I’ve been using John Meadows plans lately and love them. His style of training agrees with me.

That sounds like a good idea, I will take the time to read a bit about training plans although I’m always “scared” to change my routine since I have also made good progress ever since I started again training last year in March after a 5 years break.

Try static holds in the stretched position on calf presses for 3 to 5 seconds… 5 to 8 reps. They’ll grow. Heavyyyyy

What are his main principles? He seemed like such a good dude

I really wouldn’t know how to classify his training style. Depending on the plan you choose from his library it can vary a bit. Mostly lower volume/reps, high intensity.

Yes, he was. He put out great content and you could tell he was very passionate about bodybuilding and family.

Thanks for the advice on calves, I’ll try that in my next workout on them .

Don’t be surprised if it puts an inch on them

I honestly won’t mind it haha.

Got it from Paul Carter. Made mine grow quickly but it’s uncomfortable af

You’re extremely harsh on yourself. You’ve got great quads.

Let us know in a few weeks if you decide you like the masteron in your cycle. I might try it if you do.

I definitely will let you know how it is going ;).

Hi guys,

Just to update you after a month of bulking.

I put on 4kg, here are some recent pictures:

Pumps are quite good during workouts, definitely more energy. Strength gains aren’t significant at all but I rather focus on improving my technique on each exercise anyway. I can add a few more sets here and there.

Overall, the expected benefits of eating more and the gear supporting it all.

No side effects from 500mg/week test e / 400mg/week mast e.

Looking fantastic sir. I’m about same height as you and wish I had the discipline to cut down to your weight? Is it a struggle for you or more a genetic gift? You seem to be holding a ton of muscle at 170lbs. What do your arms tape at? Mine shrink like crazy every cut.

Thank you very much Sir!

Well I’m actually bulking currently but back when I started younger I was skinny, so I was never in a situation where losing weight was a struggle.

My arms taped at 42cm when I was 4kg less one month ago, now I don’t know. I actually never check this and especially my arms that are too big for my taste. That’s why I barely train biceps and triceps.

See pictures I just took:

They maybe a bit more than 42cm now. That said, everyone is saying that they look big and/or think that they are bigger than 42cm. The reason I checked a month ago was because a friend who does bodybuilding and compete has arms taping at 43 but keep saying mine are bigger. For some reason, they seem to look bigger than they are .

Anyway, I wish my chest was way bigger and that my arms way smaller!
