Building The Upper Shelf/Power Look

Hey CT, was wondering if you could take a look at what I have been doing and perhaps give some input. I have been following this split for about 2.5 months.

Was training 6x a week at first but, based on feel and your recommendations went to 2 on/1 off for better recovery hitting everything 2x every 8 days.

1 heavy day 6-10 reps
1 higher rep 8-12 reps

LEG 1:
Front Squats
Back Squats
LEG 2:
Back Squats
PUSH 1:
Incline db
Flat BB
Upright Rows
Skull Crushers
PUSH 2:
DB Press
Laterals
Incline DB
CGBP
PULL 1:
Pull ups
Seal Rows
face pull
Hammer Curls
PULL 2:
Snatch Grip DL
Seal Row
Shrugs
EZ Curls

**Any suggestions for Building The Upper Shelf/Power Look faster?

  • Would switching DB press for push press be a good idea get more muscle involved?
  • Adding another dead lift variation on leg days?
  • High incline BB Press instead of DB?

Or does the split look pretty good?

Thank you

If you want to emphasize the power look I would do:
• Leg 1 : Front squats, power cleans, some hamstring work
• Leg 2 : Zercher squats, carries
• Push 1 : Push press, flat BB, Upright rows, Laterals, Skull crushers
• Push 2 : Military press, Incline db, Laterals, CGBP
• Pull 1 : Pull ups, Rows, SG High pull, Hammer curl, Face pull
• Pull 2 : SG DL, Seal row, Power or cheated shrugs, Curls
