what are current measures? Your arms look BIG now that you’re lean. And do you have a before pic to compare to the most recent? Judging by the fact that we have pretty similar bodies / anatomy, seeing these pics gives me a lot to work towards. *Now that I’m leaner, I can see that I have some pretty well shaped, round muscles that would look great if filled out. Now i just gotta fill em out - that’s what she said.

hlss, i’m not taking many measurements right now since they just depress me. Last time I measured arms they were about 17" (fml), and my waist at the belly button is around 32.5" in the morning. But dont worry about that, everybody looks different at different measurements. that’s good you think you have well shaped round muscles, because I definitely don’t!
The workout was pretty good too. Eating was tight today, and I started to feel a bit hypoglycemic while prepping my second meal, so I went ahead and had a poptart with it and took a nap. Felt better when I woke up. Chest strength is just something I’ve learned to accept will be low these days.

It’s funny deat, my cals have been higher this week than in weeks past (slightly). Have lowered fats and upped carbs. just doing consistent cardio has made the difference.
I already skipload pretty big, so i dunno. I’m only gonna diet for 2.5 more weeks (finishing up June 4th before a short beach vaca with the fam). Just kind of playing each day by ear at this point.
End in sight! woot! 199lbs upon waking up w/ a 32in waist. god.

Yeah, me too. Typically baselining on Wed morning. Getting hungrier. Think I may up the cals some and just keep the cardio in even after baselining.

Mateus, no shit! it’s definitely a mind fuck, and when I’m depleted, certain shirts don’t flatter me in the arms department, but I just have to keep reminding myself this is part of the natty process.
Greg, OBVI it’s a beach vacay, god. I don’t plan on bringing any shirts. and obvi pics will be posted (will be tame though).
plan is to slowly add back in cals and see where my weight and stuff settles, try to maintain the leanness best I can while making some progress in the gym again (for once). then we shall see what I do from there ![]()

Diet is going well (6 low carb days of 100 grams, then one high day of 360 grams), cardio is up to 45-min x 6 times a week. Workout are going well, strength is good except benching LOL (it comes with the territory).
The only challenge is I don’t feel like I’ve made as large of visual improvements lately. The scale is moving in the right direction, strength and performance are good, diet is in check so I just need to keep grinding away.
What’s going on in this ish?
