Such a good arm workout. Had some fun with it (as I always do). Uhm, idk. felt and looked good. I love training arms.

Tricep kickbacks - have started with cable pressdowns for so long, so this was a nice change. Squeezed the shit out of each rep.

Seated alt. DB curls - been awhile since I’d done these. Super tight form (noticing a trend?). Great pump afterwards.

You like the dead-stops? I just gave em’ a try today on my second arm workout (supercompensation) for shits and I really enjoyed them…a keeper for sure.

Skipload was successful, kept it to 12 hours, up 4-5lbs above baseline this morning. I was feeling kinda sleepy going into the workout so I did 10 min cardio to get the HR up before getting started. This was a good idea.

Standing calf raises
5 sets, 100->400lbs, 15 reps each, low rest.

Calf press machine thing.
4 sets. between set a gym bud asked me to spot him on some DB bench with DBs that were too heavy for him. I had to “catch” one of the DBs from hitting him in the face and kind of hyperextended my knee. I was pissed and afraid it would fuck up my workout but I massaged, stretched, and did some light raises and extensions to get blood in there and i was good to go after 10 min.

Leg extensions - very controlled and squeezed reps

210 x 12

Leg press - semi-narrow stance, slow negative
3pps x 15
5pps x 10
7pps x 8
9pps x 10 DROP 6pps x 10 DROP 5pps x 10 DROP 3pps x 10 DROP 2pps x 20. Death.

130 x 10
170 x 8 DROP 90 x 10

Squats - strength is still significantly down from my best, but up from last week so whatever.

315 x 4
365 x 4, 4, 4 - last week I did 315 x 5, 5, 5, so I’d say this was a good improvement. Will try 385 next week for same reps.

2 sets of very high rep, squeezed seated leg curls for teh pumpz.

1 set of walking lunges with the 45’s, prob 40 steps.

10 min stepmill cardio as a cooldown, walked home. I feel good. Let’s see what I can do in the next few weeks now that I have no school.

  2. The squats were damn near the last movement in your lifting session.

Given those 2 facts I’d say those were some damn fine squats. Hell, I would not be able to fart with 365 on my back after all that volume, let alone squat it. Nice work.

Tyler, Blaze, thanks a lot guys. I’m in the process of securing employment (which should happen soon, fingers crossed!). Job could take me anywhere in the world depending on where they wanna place me. Grad school might be in my future, but not yet.
