Your shoulder workout looks eerily similar to mine from the other day… except you used more weight. and did more exercises… ok I guess the fact that the top set of DB presses was 90’s for 6 was the only similar part, so what???

This week was weird for diet, I don’t think it went that well. I don’t feel like I look any better than last week. Oh well. Just gotta keep pushin.

You know the great thing about dieting just for personal accomplishment? You can have shitty weeks and it really doesn’t matter AT ALL! If you gain or stall because of a shitty week you just put it behind you and focus on the week ahead. The dieting process really should be a slow one anyway. Try and enjoy it. =)

Good point Mateus. I can extend the diet a couple weeks and no big deal. So no worries. Just for all of us that are so focused on PROGRESS, it’s frustrating when there isn’t any. This week will be tightening up the cardio (i.e. adding a little more, making sure im not missing cardio sessions), keep the eating super tight, etc.

DF, I throw in standing military sometimes. Just been changing stuff around pretty frequently lately based on what I feel like doing.

I’m gonna deload this week. Keep all sets above 10-12 reps, stay away from training to failure, and give my joints a week off of “heavy” shit.

I was going to ask what you were doing for that shoulder/upper back thickness but your lateral weights answered that pretty quick, keep it up man I’m gonna try to start using big boy weights on laterals now.

I’m “deloading” this week, whatever that means (more like an excuse to half-ass lol). Been pretty stressed out lately, which is inevitable, and it’s taken its toll on my workouts. I’ve had a strange amount of difficulty “getting into it” this whole diet… it could be because it has coincided with some major life changes that are happening, but every day is so hit or miss.

But whatever, just gotta trudge through it. I did chest and back today (training 1 less day this week so I can study more), weights felt heavy, but I think that’s what happens with me when I go in with a “deloading” mindset. Energy was lethargic, lol.

Phone/ipod died today right as I got onto the elliptical, lol. Ellip sucks now anyways because I can’t maintain a heartrate above 110 no matter how fast I go… Did 20 minutes like that, then 6 rounds of 10 burpees with 45 seconds rest. Been a LONG time since I’ve done any form of HIIT. Kicked my ass.
