Awesome arms day today. Looked great with a little carbs in me and an arm pump. :slight_smile: What I like about doing arms on saturday is it’s my favorite workout, and it’s the day of the week that I look the leanest (cuz of the skipload). Amazin. Had some fun with it.

Rope pressdowns / Cable row attachment curls SS - the v-attachment thing was laying there, so holding the handles kinda mimicked a hammer curl. I dug it. Low rest b/w sets.

Lat pulldown curls / kickbacks SS
75 x 12 / 12.5’s x 10 - 3 rounds of that with no rest. Woof.

3 sets bi stretch (sit on incline with 35lb DBs and try to fully supinate hands, stretches naiice)

3 sets tri stretch (smith machine, bar around knee level or a lil higher, hands about shoulder width, hold on and push body through/under the bar. its a DC stretch, look it up, lol).

Damn you ate a lot of carbs to still be 5+ over your regular weight. I eat a 12" pizza and over an order of zeppoli and don’t hold that much water.

Nikki, I’m dieting similarly to Bug and do the same kind of skipload. I’ve pretty much tried every diet from AD to high carb, and I gotta say - when you go through the whole week with little to no carbs then ingest a boatload of high GI, sugar-laden shit food, weird thigns happen.

For me, about 20 mins after I start, I can notice vascularity and a major increase in body temp. Then, I get full and bloated beyond belief but keep eating lol! Then, the next morning, I feel and look leaner, train really hard, then go back to normal. The day after that (2 days later I guess) I look more “soft” than the day before, and the day after that I’m back to baseline appearance.

The body is a weird thing. LOL! It’s funny too b/c my nutrition professor said today in class that “hypertrophying any organ, especially muscles, is terrible for your health. The human heart CANNOT acclimate to bigger muscles, so people should stop working out in gyms.” LULZ ensued

I would say hiss’s account of what the body goes through while skiploading is pretty accurate to what happens to me. Today is 2 days post skipload and I definitely look my “worst”. Then I might flatten out some more tomorrow and by thurs I start tightening up. Friday/Saturday/Sunday I start to look damn good.

Mediocre chest day. Had some shit happen last night that kept me from sleeping, eating was a little off, but oh well, we have to press on. Shoulder was feeling kinda wonky from a couple days ago (slept on it weird), and traps were supa-sore from shrugs yest.
