No it’s not a FTW when she is threatening me with all this shit and making me do drug tests, lol.
But mom, Bugs is KILLIN IT in the gym!
My mom says protein powder gives you “fake muscles.” Don’t ask me, it gives me an aneurysm.
What are your goals (weight, bf) ?
You’re 6’0 ?

x2, it’s in bold because most people joke or ask if you’re on teh stareoids. Your results are so compelling bugmomAD needs science to prove that bugsonAD is not all juiced up on vitamin S.

That just means you’re doing it right.
I tried replying 2 separate times today, neither post went through. Really annoying.
Shitty workout. Didn’t eat any carbs all day and wanted to try lifting on no carbs. Bad idea. AND my fucking phone/ipod just turned off (was fully charged) during bench warmups and wouldnt turn back on. klsdgjskjghdzfkjgzdfhg. I felt very weak and couldn’t get a pump, probably from the poor workout nutrition.
Bench press - fucking die die die die die die. I think Im gonna stop flat benching for the rest of the diet. fuck this shit.
135 x 10

V-bar pressdowns

Im looking better at least.
Ha I hate training with no carbs. One time I trained with a friend without any carbs, and all I could think about was eating a muffin. He’s also an evil slave-driver and kept yelling “Hard work! Determination!” in my ear. growl
But yeah, why you wanted to lift without carbs is beyond me.
It was a rookie mistake.
Gonna change my workout nutrition protocol up a bit to hopefully get some more energy in the gym.
This is a random pic from before our epic spring break trip. Asked HolyMac to snap a pic. god I felt like shit that day lol.
Bug, what is your cutting diet strategy? (style of diet, protein, carb, fat amounts, cardio)
Are you doing this with a coach or by yourself?
My secret is… Wendy’s chocolate frosty.
Hmm-mm very true. A small is around 300 cals, empty cals so it’s best to have it right before the gym of course. BUT for energy, it works better than stimulants.
I even have a friend who competes in juice BB saying that he has to get himself a Frosty before training ;D
Just a thought <3
Idk how some guys train without carbs, I know I’m not one of them, and I just find it hard to believe that it can be optimal.
Waxy maize or Karbolyn are my workout carbs of choice. Aminos/40-60 carbs pre and during does the trick : ).
Evan, do you have carbs immediately PWO, or do you wait till your PWO meal?
CC, dieting strategy is pretty standard. Most days amount to somewhere between 2200-2500kcal, protein falling roughly between 260g-290g, carbs around 100-160g (depending on the day), fat falls where it does, usually something fairly low to moderate. Using a leangains/intermittent fasting approach (first meal around 12:30, last meal consumed by 8:30 or so - 8hr eating window,16hr fast), skiploading once a week, doing cardio till I hit baseline (up to 40min sessions, usually only have to do 3 of these a week).
I’m doing this myself. College student. ![]()
All I have been having immediately PWO right now is 30 grams of whey isolate and some added aminos. If it’s an especially taxing workout or for some reason I feel compelled to have something right after, I’ll have something sugary, but usually I wait until the meal and add in more carbs then.
I think I’ll start doing 30g whey PWO. <3

OK, so I have been hearing this alot lately, especially from Skip’s clients. What do you mean by baseline?
So do you have any outline/guidelines to your Skiploads? Sounds like it could be pretty easy to get carried away and ruin a whole week of dieting. I know I probably would haha
Lol I just wrote out a whole post and when ashy posted it refreshed my page and lost it. fml.
Bsaically, shitty workout, a lot of things leading up to it went wrong. Not even gonna re-write it.
Mateus, baseline is the weight you take the morning you start skiploading. Whenever you reach this weight again during the week (usually 3-4 days for most i think), it’s called hitting baseline.
ashy, no none at all, lol. you’d think so… I mean I honestly need to be working a lot harder on my skipload. like I literally eat all day, from morning time till 11 at night on Sundays, and by Tuesday, or Wednesday at the latest, I’m back to the weight I was Sunday, and usually by Sunday I’m down a couple more lbs. It’s crazy.
gotcha!
Haha, sorry about that.
That’s pretty awesome. I’ll definitely be keeping that in mind the next time I lean up (hopefully not for a LONG time haha).
Btw, Mateus, looking huge in that avi brother! Big progress since last time I saw pics of you. Height/weight?
