oh kimba!–you will get one!! have you tried with a preloaded bar bar that’s less then a regular bar? the length might be harder since those tend to be shorter and the longer the bar the easier i think to spread out your arms and get balance. hell, even a broomstick is still nice to do them with. just a lovely movement

But when you do you one will smile for days! I love those!! they make my butt feel so nice!! and my abs too! one of my favorites, if not my favorite lift to do :slight_smile:

not to mention the OH squats just look extremely bad ass…

hey Mash!-oly training-- i do like it! but i’m too impatient as of now to properly learn to clean and jerk and snatch. I have my own version of a clean and jerk…kinda bazzaro. I’ll get there eventually:) I think oly stuff is way cool!

squats bar warm up to 225x4,235x4, 245x4x2 sets, 265x2x 2 sets, 275. I’m getting impatient with the reps on regular squats. I think I’m over them. Plan: work my regular squats twice a week. I might do some heavy triples. I dunno.

When I read OH squats, I think with a snatch grip. You are showing some incredible shoulder flexibility there.

OH squats, something else I haven’t tried, but I think my old shoulder joints would rebel big time…this is sooo impressive Brute!

Anyways, I actually completely understand. Learning the O-lifting is incredibly tedious and can be very frustrating. Its no grip and rip, that’s for sure.

And hey that bench ain’t bad either–115x6x6–that’s a good amount of volume at a weight not far from your competition weight.

hey nadia! yeah–my squats i need to just re learn again. I have the wt sorta down, but my form is not so hot. and benching will be a forever battle. Its just not my style to begin with…ie it doesn’t involve enough ass and legs—>but i’m working on that.
