I kinda miss the bent over rows that I used to do. Subbed them for inverted rows with the smith machine (less stress on my back) and then… Kinda bailed on them (reducing push-pull so I can Oly lift more frequently). But I kinda do miss the bent over ones. Your back is looking great!

Agree, your back does look awesome (it matches the rest of you in that way). Just think how much more awesome it’ll look soon now that you’re rowing. :slight_smile:

To be fair, you do have pretty rockin’ guns. Most musicians, at least the ones I’ve known, would look frail and weak in comparison to you.

Its very disproportionate to my legs and lower half–the picture was to show teh tattoo. I know i have no beasty back to brag about!

Honestly the only training it gets is secondary or complimentary to the crap I like to do: squats, dls, gm’s etc whatever. I don’t train it in an isolated way at all all. I can feel the bones on it. Same with my arms. If i took training seriously in that way i’d look at lot different…but …I…don’t !

But I will do rows. I have conceded to becnhing so why not rows. and i’m going to do the bb stuff for Nikki…on Mondays, and the rows will be on PMPM/ Snapper Wednesdays.

SPAZZED out lifts. I feel good that they were all in good form, so I’m not too concerned about anything. just fatigued, and didn’t really factor in that i dl’d Thursday am too. i did all sorts of stuff in between each attempt, more abs, gm’s, ghetto reverse reveres hypers.

the gm’s i did were probably 3 or 4 sets of 95x8-10, 115x10
benched even in between. 115x5.

then wrapped it up with some oh sq. i really feel like i benefit doing those after deadlfits. really opens up my hips, coccyx, lower back, lumbar area. kinda feels like it pulls my veterbrae apart and decomperesse. if that’ s possible

I used to hate OHS but now I do them to warm up for the same reason they feel really good stretching hips and stuff.

Well your lower half is (wonderfully!) beastly, so there’s that to keep in mind when comparing the upper half to it. All this benching and soon-to-be regular rowing will help bridge the gap somewhat.

laugh So even though you dl’d Thursday and had a spazzed out day, you still pulled 225 for a bunch of reps AND went up to 275. What a Brute. :smiley:

So what are your favorite Rammstein songs? I only ‘discovered’ them a year ago or so, as in actually listening to them and not just knowing who they are. I’m always impressed by the range of topics they tackle and their bleakness/darkness. You really don’t get that from a lot of bands. Oh, and you’re right- that Brom cat does have some cool art. :slight_smile:
