thanks kimba and nadia! I’m feeling OK–just. My hips hurt still, and my back’s kinda wonky.but its getting better!

I did cardio yesterday and feel much better. The day’s off training were fine, but i get stiff when i don’t do anything at all…so the cardio actually helped.

I’m waiting …waiting…waiting for my freaking gym to open so i can go in. NEW YEARS.

i hate this part of my life. The waiting for everything…for everyone to wake up, to open, to be a reasonable time to get a hold off… Being on night schedule i do that ALOT.

The gym’s one place i could always go to…except holidays…BOOO!! Its tasking. waiting. waiting. waiting! its hard on my days off especially, i can never really plan things because i can’t really factor in how long i’ll last. or if the place is open! … because the chill meet up we would have planned at 10 am, for me is a feat of endurance. …because I’ve been up since 11pm the night before…with hours and hours WAITING.

forget it if its after 10am-12pm as well. I might be awake and fine for ten minutes then totally not, might be completely incoherent and unable to drive a car much less enjoy things because i’m so tired…sigh. Waiting seven hours to eat because I want to go to go out with someone… its why i make the big bucks–and piss people off for flaking on plans :{

Call me an asshole…but new years’ means the gym should be open! ha! oh well. I’m enjoying the night off,so i guess its only fair.

!!!WOW!!! Bitching already! ha ha! :D…sigh…on i go to wait…2 more hours…

My gym is…although I’m not planning on going. But it seems a good time for people to kick off their resolutions.

hey kimba! -yes…I have considered changing to a different shift, if i did that however i would not want to work at my current clinic during the day, which i used to do years ago… I just need to get to that breaking point…where i will end up doing it.

I know i can’t do graveyards forever, its been about 4 years of it with a five month break in between…its great for me, but bad for me too for my solicitation skills :{ which are questionable at best!

the last few days have just been cardio…and yesterday/monday some benching( 100x10x5sets)

I over estimated my healing ability apparently, or underestimated the strain or whatever i did. I’m still not right :confused:

I’ve come to terms with the fact that the gym is not going anywhere…more importantly every weekend and workout are not going to be banner ones. i need to slow the hell down before i jump back into things.

I did not fully appreciate just how thrown off the buildup and wind down the December meet would do to me! I went into it fairly low key,…but I guess that’s how it goes? geez! those things are tasking! I have to give so much more credit and respect for the veteran competitors–> its hard! and i’m not even a fraction of the amount of professional and serious as you guys are!! its…worth it…but…yeah, it was worth it :slight_smile:

I believe i pushed it too fast and too much trying to get back to pr’s and numbers i had right up to it. which i was WARNED not to do! but of course i had to try :stuck_out_tongue:

So now I convalesce, putter with cardio to keep from being a complete stiff hunk of wood-- a little bit more. and take it slow. I have tried just the bar for some squats and deads, ok so far…i am fairly fearful, and am going to go slooow. i hate that old lady stiff awful i was this week :frowning: work was a nightmare, since i do quite a lot of holding, lifting, and hauling and physical Steve Irwin type wrestling with beasts there as well…bleh.

OH! and a massage in the next few days :slight_smile:

DAMM! But good thing is my arms feel fine, so if i get too angst-y i can blow upper body stuff out. which i definitely should. My arms really are not impressive. I was looking at em the other day…they could be far more impressive…

oh n! i am lucky…i got 4 hours of free massage gift cards for my b-day :slight_smile: and yes! i even did curls today–and tricep extensions (!)

I"m driving myself slightly crazy here lately. being laid up has pushed me into boredland 2011. But I have accomplished some things…rearranged the furniture… updated my resume…applied for a few PT jobs. I do ok $$ wise but while I’m paying off student loans still I’m be unable to save any money for my savings account.

So, I look for a very very part time PT job. Hmmpfh.
