I dont know how to download pics yet try the fatty part of thigh, or on side between quad and hamstring. That divet on side of legs.
Not too sure for SubQ. I am looking (still) on moving to SubQ, but I only have a month or so of needles left and I’m going to use them up first.
Good luck!
So anyone knows how to solve this issue…
This happens when doing subQ at the beginning. I started subQ recently and would also get the red bumps but don’t get them now. I do test cyp every 3.5 days with 29 gauge 1/2" needle.
Rubbing the part of the injection site helped me as well as staying steady. I also pinch skin when injecting.
Thank you swell… I did above 15 HCG SUBQ shots. Ever got a single bump or bubble…
Now when I started injection test into abdominal SUBQ it started showing up… I have an injection tomorrow should I give it one last try?
I’m using a 30g 0.3 inch insulin syringe…
Or should I try the thighs Subq?
Outer, upper quad. largest part of the muscle
Can you please take my picture and like draw the spot? I don’t know where that is . I’m doing SUBQ into the fat not into the muscle or whatever gets in with the 0.3 inch
oops, my bad. I was thinking IM injections.
No experience with subQ…sorry
Give the belly a few more tries. Hcg never gave me bumps. The test did. Then one side stopped giving me bumps and now both sides aren’t giving me bumps. Took about 6 -8 times.
I have never done sub q anywhere else but my belly. You may want to consider shallow IM.
I’m gna give the SUBQ a few more tries in the belly area if it doesn’t work out I’m gna change to the thigh and see. Thank you
I think since I’m using a 30g 8/3 needle… the oil is not reaching the fat rather staying on the surface and causing this bubble… also I’m not lean I carry fat around my belly… should I look into getting a 0.5 inch needle instead maybe?
If I inject SC/SQ in belly area I get lumps. But SC/SQ over top of legs does not. Some have reported the opposite. So you need to see what works best for you.
SC anywhere 2-3" either side of your finger, avoid visible veins.
Yes, but there are many locations in that width up and down your leg.
When using alcohol prep pad, rub vigorously to clean up dead skin cells circular in both directions to clean all sides of hair at injection site.
Press on selected site with a pen cap, or a syringe cap to mark the spot, use the prep pad then when you inject you are certain about where you cleaned the skin.
I never aspirate with insulin syringes. Even if you do and you hit a vein and go through and past the vein, aspiration will not show blood, you would have to hit the vein with the end of the needle in the vein, not likely to happen.
Thank you very much for your support! Really apricate it!
Go more to the right. The outside of the muscle. Stand up and find the muscle. Right/outside of muscle is where I pin, insert pin slow, real slow, should take you a minute to inject. I do this and end up with zero pain. If you insert fast & inject fast your forcing it in, that’s where I use to get pain but when I go slow I’m good. Move your injection area over to the right a couple inches. I watched u tube and took docs advice and it’s good

Thank You

I switched from 23g to 27g insulin syringes and give injections on upper leg subQ, it seems to sting more now after the injection, sometimes a little bruise, but much less bleeding. 27g needles are easier to inject for me, might be the smaller syring. I just got a nee bottle of T cyp, so could have been end of old bottle causing sting for a few days, I did notice old bottle had some gunk floating, even though I warm up bottle. Each bottle lasts me like 2.5 months.
I am still getting red lumps in my thighs 24 hours after the SUBQ injection with 3/8 31g syringe… it seems I am always hitting the vain in the Subq area which I’m told is rich with tiny veins… any other advice on how to fix this?
Hell, I think I will stick (no pun) with IM. I can’t really “pinch” any fat, so I’ll try glutes soon.
Any updates on the bumps? I still get them although I do my shots way slower now and smoother…
