Bruised Injection Site

@verne I am way too worried you are 100% correct. I will just calm down and monitor it. The redness went away everything is fine, it just hurts if I press against it since it’s a ball.

I will stop OCDing over it thanks for the tip!

P.S the wife could have been taking her anger out on me for god knows what lol!

I only inject in the quads. I have yet to try in the gluts because I’m still too fat to look around and try it. I put my hand next to my belly/waist and use that distance to inject into the outer quad. I go as far as two hand widths away. Only one time I had an issue and that’s when I hit a nerve or something. Immediately pulled it out and pinned again less than a 1/4" away from the first one.

6 days later today. No more redness or green colors. The bump is gone, and everything is back to normal! Thanks everyone for the support and advice.

Great to hear! My first time I nicked a vein it scared the hell out of me. Was about to freak out when blood started coming out, lots of blood (not really, but at the time it seemed like it), and my chest tightened up. Thankfully I read enough articles/posts to know I can just stay calm and I’d be alright. Now it’s part of it. haha

Hehe ya I was freaking out and thinking they need to drain it and so many horror stuff going through my head. Thank god it’s that’s simple and it goes after a while.

Can someone maybe suggest a spot to inject SUBQ that won’t bubble like this…?

You can’t live this way. You need to self-inject.

Please read the stickies found here: About the T Replacement Category - #2 by KSman

  • advice for new guys
  • things that damage your hormones
  • protocol for injections
  • finding a TRT doc

Self inject twice a week with #29 0.5ml 1/2" insulin needles on top of legs SC or IM. IM in top outer muscles, SC/SQ where you judge that you are missing surface veins.

Glut injection are risky as there are major blood vessels and nerves.

I am still new to this, only 7 weeks so far, but I have a similar issue.
Doing my HCG injections I got bruising a few times when injecting about 2-3" from belly button. I have since been pinching some fat on the love handle area and injecting there. It hurts less and I have not had any bruising.

Almost all of the bruising from damage to small blood vessels can easily be prevented. As soon as you remove the needle, press on the injection site with your finger for ~10 seconds. This will block blood flow and the vessels will then “seal off”.

@KSman I have read the stickys, I am self injecting twice a week! the first case was my wife injecting in my glutes.
those two new pictures are in my stomach! 0,25ml every 3-4 days with a 30G 0.3 inch or 8MM needle. Injected on Saturday left stomach part got a bruise/bubble injected on Tuesday right side and also a got bruise as the picture shown on top…

the needles are the same exact ones I use for HCG, never had a problem with the HCG, once I started the sustanon 250, the stomach bruising happened .. Also Cypoinote and Enthante are not available here.

Could it be that the Sustanon doesn’t react well to the fat? Maybe the 7.5mg of Propionate is causing this?

30mg Testosterone Propionate
60mg Testosterone Phenylpropionate
60mg Testosterone Isocaproate
100mg Testosterone Decanoate

@verne @mwhities @studhammer @strongmanjoe your thoughts?

My only experience with sub cuteneous injections was with heparin, most of time no bruising about every 4 time i would have pain and bruising, i think if needle moves to much it causes this.

Sorry brother, havent tried SubQ yet. Maybe the alcohol solvent in your test is causing inflammation with your bodyfat at the surface?

Could be the Testosterone Propionate doing all of this… still dunno if I should switch from the belly to the upper leg. if someone could post a video or picture of how do the SUBQ at the top of leg?

I cant say for sure but Testosterone Propionate is notorious for pain.

“Testosterone propionate is often regarded as a painful injection. This is due to the very short carbon chain of the propionic acid ester, which can be irritating to tissues at the site of injection. Many sensitive individuals choose to stay away from this steroid completely, their bodies reacting with a pronounced soreness and low-grade fever that may last for a few days after each injection. Even the mild soreness that is experienced by most users can be quite uncomfortable”

Unfortunately I have no other option then the Sustanon which contains the propionate. I will give the SUBQ injection on last time in the abdomen and try not to move or breath when injecting plus presssin down for 10 seconds after The injection to see if it won’t flame up and bruise. If it does il go for a different spot or back to IM…

I used to mix test test propionate with mct oil, for site injections as propionate will cause muscle to swell a little. But came with a little pain.
If pain isnt severe and you get results tough it out, is gear legit?
I think the bruising is needle moving around , and not just putting it in .
Remember you are sticking a piece of metal in your body.

I’m on TRT, but no the pain isn’t that much it’s just the fact that I will have bruising for the rest of my life isn’t such a good Image on my body. The oil is 100% pharma grade bought from the hospital with a prescription.

I could be moving the neeele and not doing it as gentle maybe… I should try it again Saturday hold my breath in and stick the needle in without moving.

Dude bruising dont last forever, pharma grade then you are moving needle to much, i like i little bead of oil on pin before i insert though, try upper thigh its cover up with under wear.
I sneezed when injecting American grade pharma once and had a bruise, needle went in sideways.
Sustanon an excellent test stick with it , how often is blood work.

It been 2 shots and 2 bruises so I though something isn’t right. I don’t move the needle a lot just poke it in and push, but it’s bit hard to push due to it being an insulin syringe… I will try my best to be slow and gentle with the next shot. I love the sustanon the effects are just amazing so far

Would you be kind enough to show me a picture of where exactly is the upper thigh injection spot so maybe I can try that?
