Bill, Thank you so much for taking the time to try and help me.
It comforts me a great deal to know that I/we have someone with so much knowledge available to us and “in our corner” so to speak.
Christ big Tim, how the hell are you? Is it me or are you getting bigger than ever these days? Those traps and upper body musculature in general are looking outrageous my friend.

Good to see you looking damn good, it’s been a good while hasn’t it?!!

Take care Gramps!

In “heat’s” defense, it does tend to get the hormone into solution in a hurry, and I like to save as much time as I can. I mean, who doesn’t?

I’ve never tried without heat because heating tends to both allow me to get to filtering more quickly and makes the filtering process easier because the still-warm oil is less viscous.

Also I’m fairly certain it’s never been the suggestion by any of my friends on this particular forum, the one’s who taught me how to brew, that baking was ever necessary or that heating the solution had anything at all to do with sterility. Quite the contrary, in fact.

Not trying to pick a fight with you here, Bill, btw. I just wanted to clear up what I thought could possibly have been a misperception about our brewers here.
Whenever I write in that style, I don’t mean that EVERYONE holds the sorts of opinions or ideas stated, just that they have some popularity, but shouldn’t.

My real point is that there has long been a heavy overemphasis on “baking” among the non-knowledgeable trying to get started, and still some overemphasis among many who have some practice and knowledge at it.

And even where wanting, legitimately, to speed a dissolution process, typically far higher temperature is employed than is at all necessary.

Usually irrelevant, but certainly relevant to the given example of testosterone enanthate solution turning brown in the process.

All understood, and I completely agree and want to pull my hair out when I hear guys get told to “bake” their gear in the oven to sterilize it or dissolve BA.

My own brown gear, and I’m almost positive Lillguy’s was the same (because we’ve actually talked about this before) came from powder that was already brown.

TB, hey buddy thanks for the kind words. Nice to hear from you and yes I am STARTING to fill out as I’m getting older. It only took 10-12 years, LOL. I’ve been doing some long term cycles and have been doing pretty well so far.
I’ve included a pic of my Newfoundland “Oliver” he’s 180 lbs of muscle himself!
When I walk him and he decides he wants to go in another direction, it’s like trying to hold back a 300 lb man!
