What on earth is NE?
I would google it but… I don’t wanna.
I like shrimp. I like shrimp with anything.
I will eat it on plane, I will eat it on a train.

NE = North East/New England
We eat so many shrimp, I got iodine poisoning
I did some stuff, and did some other stuff and I’m too busy with school and fishing to post right now, but after tonight I’ll have some free time to lay the smack down.
I don’t know how I can live in both NE and FL. Sounds difficult to do =)
You know how patiently we await your smack-talking.

Dean Martin folks…
Tomorrow, I start up again. Don’t worry, last week blew I just did my deload. You don’t need those numbers.
Sorry, I been away. Because you care right? Right?
…hello?
I see the love with all the comments, while I have been away. I started a new program, because well the other one just wasn’t doing it for me. I hit some PR’s and I quite training immediately, because that obviously means that I don’t need it.
My new workout, I go max reps everytime, with max weight (this is done in one session as nikki’s suggestion of adding volume):
Bench
135x15
225x20 (I know right?)
315x7
405x5 (I know impossible right, don’t worry I forgot to bring my camera so no footage for you to ask for)
495xnothing, I bounced it off my chest but no luck
Curls
135x20 (throw some back into or you’re being lazy)
185x10
225x5
250xnothing, almost threw my back out, but I’m good. I think I should go see the chyro though.
Deads
185x15 (I got bored so I upped the weight)
225x17
315x10
405x7
495x5
585x1 (come at me, bro)
GM
135x10
400x10 for three sets
Squats
Bar x infinity (still repping it out as I type)
135x15
185x10
275x10
315x9
405x5
495x3
585x2
675x1
For those ready to never come back again, it’s deload week, and I only did the first or two sets I wrote out in more moderate reps and sets. I’ll be posting my journal, starting tomorrow with my squat workout. see you around.

I made it quick today as there was a semi-pro/pro BB doing a photo shoot/film. Not sure who it was, but there was a lot of lights, lots of oil, and random women with barely any clothes on jumping on the cables and machines in the background.

How do you go from benching 215 for a few reps to 405 for 5 in a few weeks? I’m confused.

The bottom of that post explains it more clearly. Right now, I’m not even touching 215 for one rep, let alone a few reps.
I wrote that out because I wanted to catch some attention. ![]()
I did a highland “pick up” game last weekend. Pretty much all the local guys I know had the weekend off, and I convinced the guy organizing it if I brought the whiskey and beer (only six guys) if he’d let me come and party with them.
Caber: 12 o’clock
96# Put: 13’
16.5# Put: 39’ (little rusty)
Light weight: 69’
Heavy weight: 32’
HT (Light): 100’
HT (Heavy): 70’
WOB: 13.5’ (I was amazed I didn’t kill myself, first time doing this one)
Sheaf: 27’
Aww…so today Doc decided that I was going to “weigh-in” and I weighed in at a pound shy of three bills. I say his scale has gone bonkers.
Anyway, he says I need to get reactive for the moment and be proactive and lose the weight or I’ll make my recovery slower. I said sure thing doc, give me the green light and I’ll slim down. He said I already had the green light, obviously he don’t remember me wrestling days. He gave me the option of doing it his way, boring. I told him mine, he said crazy. I said it’s boring too, but I know it’ll work.
Start out the first and second week with 2 sessions (each session is 5 runs) of stairs or hills. Each week we add one day where we can until we have 3-4* days of sessions (day before and day of I take a break until I lift).
After I have 4 sessions a week, I bump the session up every 2 weeks by 1 run until I reach 20 or die. Then, I am taking the HOT-ROX/Alpha Male stack with a 1 of each two times a day (5 day cycle for AM).
This will take 4 weeks to get to 5 sessions and about 35 more weeks to get to 20 runs 5 times a week.
I’m looking at losing between 50-60 pounds (depending on what scale I am using) in 10 months or less. Maybe even more, maybe I want to see abs for next summer.
Edit: One more run every two weeks, not two runs every week.
Edit 2: The week will contain 3-4 hill/stair sessions per week, not five sessions.
