Bromocriptine

Anyone have any good Bromocriptine experiences? I was thinking of making a couple week run at 2.5 mg per day or every other day. The only problem is the expense. Ag-Guys is exorbitant, as always. They sell at 30ml bottle at 1.25mg/ml. What dosages have people used. I’m interested in it for various reasons but predominantley for its effects as an appetite suppesant. I will soon be starting a strict cut, and it’s supposed to keep you uniquely full wile dieting stricly. Lyle Mcdonald swears by it. Also interested in hearing about bad experiences and adverse side effects. I know I’ve talked to people on this forum in the past who have had bad exeriences.

Nobody?

I know bromocriptine can be used for progesterone sides, but I’ve never heard of it as an appetite suppresant. I’ll definately look into it. Sorry I haven’t used it before, I went with cabergoline.

Thanks Schwarzenegger. Bromocriptine and cabergoline are supposed to be similar for appetite suppresant purposes. Bromocriptine also has GH-releasing properties and other metabolic benefits. I’ll be giving it a whirl. Concerned about the sides though. I’ll report back on how it goes.

Thanks, Bushy. I remember you talking about this before and saying it didn’t agree with you. I figured I’d give it a try though and see how I react. Lyle Mcdonald has reported the least side effects with morning dosing when prolactin is the highest. Prolactin drops throughout the day, so the notion is that dosing in the evening when prolactin is lower can cause an excessive drop and increase the likelihood of some nasty sidea.

People that I’ve talked to have reported less hunger on a cut while taking bromocriptine. It would make sense to me. From what I’ve read, leptin levels are related to satiety.

Rimonabant is supposed to be an excellent aid in cutting. It is an anti-canabinoid (sp) that tells the brain you are full.

But it has some nasty sides as well.

Yeah, I’m hoping I don’t experience though. My system tends to tolerate most things pretty well, but we’ll see. Morning administration and a more gradual increase in dose is also said to help minimize the sides.

The other plus to rimonabant is that it is significantly cheaper than Bromocriptine, at least what I’ve seen Bromocriptine sold for.
