shit I just clicked on that link - that is hands down THE funniest site I’ve ever seen!

It’s somewhat reminiscent of the kind of propoganda films of the Third Reich - lots of shiny happy faces and wholesome images masking an extremely narrow-minded, pernicious idealogy.

But…they came out of homosexuality. That is the point – you can try to cloud this by (once again – and it is getting pretty old) linking everything Christians are about to Hitler, Nazis, Facists, etc.

However, what you CANNOT GET AROUND is that there are supposed genetically gay people that have made the choice and have come out of, given up on, and are otherwise “cured” of their homosexuality, thus PROVING that it is neither genetic nor natural.

BTU - of course these people are happy. They have the weight of their sin off of their backs and have come to know the Savior as well.

Priceless!!

I bet all those ‘reformed’ gays have really good, solid marriages, and feel every bit as sexually inclined towards their new partner as they did towards their old ones.

Anyway, your saviour knocked around with 12 men all his life and never married - bit fruity don’t you think?

Wow… This is one of funniest threads I’ve read in ages.

I’ve never heard such absurd and outlandish claims about what it is to be homosexual, mostly from people who have obviously never knowingly come into contact with a gay person.

I’ve pointed gay mates of mine to this thread now just to gain an insight into what they are facing.

Keep it coming please, this is making my afternoon.

Was Jesus gay? lol… Whoever suggested that was a genius…

I love Gay men. I wish every man was gay except me. Then I’d have a chance with Jessica Alba.

You have gay friends?? Do you not realise an eternity in hell awaits you? I used to have a gay friend, but I nailed him to a tree and burnt his toes with cigarettes while he watched homo-erotica demanding he repent. He is since cured. Well technically he’s dead, but all’s well that ends well.

This thread just got alot more entertaining since the last 5 or 6 posts. No reason for me to participate really. I can just read what the last couple of idiots post and laugh!

Thanks for making it fun again

Are you suggesting that I don’t have a chance with Jessica Alba?

Lol, thanks for the comic relief

Steve0, you are confusing sexual orientation with behavior. People don’t choose their orientation, and attempting to change their orientation can be damaging. I can repost the definitive quotes from every major medical and mental health organization, if necessary.

Genetics is a strong factor in determining sexual orientation. You can still choose to act contrary to your orientation, of course. There wouldn’t be so many closeted gay men if that weren’t possible.

There may be some people who are more moderate in their sexual orientation, and could potentially “swing” either direction. But most people tend to be heterosexual or homosexual, and nothing they do can change who they are.

As for your “source”, you do realize that the two founders of Exodus, Michael Bussee and Gary Cooper, claimed to be “cured” right? They later became lovers and left the organization.

I realize I’m just speaking to a wall here, but this is more for the benefit of others that may have a more open mind.

This is even better than the earlier idiots. You just tried to create a catch-all to explain whatever you want to explain. Too bad 80% of Americans are too bright to fall for that little trick.

Dicks or chicks…what’s it going to be? Can’t have it both ways if people are changing their “orientation”.

It looks like English, and yet somehow makes no sense to me…

Good post, Forlife. However, sensible and rational thought has no place in this thread. Go and burn in hell you soddomite.

Out of curiosity why the precise number as being 80%?

What the fella above posted seemed to make perfect sense to me. I mean Catholic priests (the good ones before people jump in!) should by definition as being Humans and males should be orientated towards something sexually but don’t they repress that in service to God?

I might be way off here, but if that IS the case then why can you not extend that same logic to the genetic versus social/cultural disposition of homosexuality?

ah, you see your problem here is that you are using logic. This simply will not do…

Anyway, with all you lot bickering I have actually gone away and found a cure for all that horrid gayness and gaynicity. I’ve even been nice enough to post the cure several times.

Not only isn’t it damaging it can actually be quite positive. How can so many “Come out” of their lifestyle and you sit there and say that no one can change (apparently because you couldn’t).

According to the studies that I have read and posted on this very thread it seems to be more a matter of “nuture” over “nature.” Currently there are no scientific studies which conclusively prove that it is genetic.

But does that stop the gay lobby from insisting that people are “born that way?” No…they continue to lie.

If that’s the case then how can many who declare themselves as “homosexual” actually have heterosexual sex? I think the last study showed that 87% of homosexyual men have had sex with women.

Contrast that with a record for heterosexual men having sex with other men.

See my point?

I just read an article about Gary Cooper died of AIDS. One more very sad statistic coming from the homosexual community.

Being “open minded” works both ways forlife. Have you changed your opinion on two men having sex together since the inception of this thread?

No.

Are YOU also closed minded?

what is the “Gay Lobby”?? Do you have to be gay to join? I bet they have some wicked parties.

Anyway, the stats you used regarding gay men who’ve had heterosexual encounters is hardly proof of anything. Considering most people become sexually active in their early teens it would take a very bold person to immediately announce that they were gay. In fact it would take a very bold person even to admit this to themselves, and if you can’t see why then really there is no point in continuing with this debate.

I guess time will tell if this gay-reformist movement has any substance, or if it is in fact just a load of mentally stunted happy clappers shaming gay members of their flock into renouncing the devil. I suspect it will be the latter.

[quote]terribleivan wrote:

Not having it both ways, idiot. What I said was that the large majority of people have a fixed orientation. A relatively small percentage of people are bisexual and can be happy with either gender.
