4x315 ← failed on 5th rep, lower back shot electricity and immediately got sore. Happened with bar 2-3" off ground, RIGHT at the start

Lower back quite sore, watched some TV with a hot water bottle on it and feeling better, but still ‘feel it’.

I wonder what I did wrong? Fatigue? Is my weak squat limiting my ability to get it right off the ground when fatigued? I would really like to know what I did here wrong here…

2 days later, back still in major pain. Strained muscles at the very least. No working for me for probably at least a week.

Going to get my physio guy (who also used to power lift) to do a few sessions with me on deadlift to see if/what I am doing wrong.

Could be bad form…or could just be I lost focus. I suspect what happens is my legs were fatigued and gave out and my lower back took over. I suspect the latter as I’ve done a lot of work on my form, keeping chest up, driving with hips, etc.
