As someone with two daughters of my own, I say fuck him. If he suicides, good, if the girls father finds him and disappears him, even better!
I completely agree. But to me that doesn’t have anything to do with not punishing rapists. To me it falls under the heading of “rape prevention,” which is vitally important. But so is punishing criminals, which is another form of prevention. Aero seemed to be saying that the focus should be on one rather than the other.
My comments stem from my experience with rapists. I interact with rapists almost every single day where I work (secure level 1 prison in Jackson, Michigan). They walk around with seemingly not a care in the world, a sense of entitlement, and for the most part I would say they have no remorse except for the fact they got caught. This kid would be fine in prison because there’s plenty others just like him and they’re all pieces of shit.
Absolutely! That’s why I disagreed with his post, before I found any merit in it.
Haven’t read the whole thread, but these comments sum it up for me.
Was this woman “guilty” of doing something dumb? Yup. Should the punishment for that be rape? Fuck and no.
Fuck that dude
