Dude you lost me after “hella better”. I was dumbfounded that anyone’s nuts were numb enough to still be using that.
Even Eric Cartman dropped that about 6 or 7 years ago. Haha you’re a dumbass.
I didn’t say Dawn or Land, I said ‘Day’, the underwatched and underappreciated third part of the original trilogy. Yes, some of the acting is quite cartoonish and it was made on a small budget, but thematically speaking, Romero brought it all together on that one.
Lock, Stock…
Get Carter
The Ipcress File
Day of the Jackal
The Iron Geese
Sexy Beast
Public Enemy Number One
I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead (early Clive Owen movie)
Children of Men
They have some great TV series too:
Danger/Secret Agent Man
The Prisoner
Monty…Monty… something or other
MI-5
Hustle
Some of these TV shows have movie-length episodes:
Cracker (Robbie Coltrane of Oceans 12 & Harry Potter)
Wire In the Blood
Wake the Dead
Midsummer Murders
Second Sight (Clive Owen)

Who are the real monsters?[/quote]
What is Day of the dead the one set in a military bunker?
I didn’t like that one, I enjoyed the original set in the mall. It was way more entertaining than the remake.
Anyway it’s the internet for fuck’s sake I can use ‘Hella’ if I want. I think seeing the OP’s avatar I had a bout of nostalgia.
Oh and I think 28 days later was made on a relatively small budget too (in contrast to the big budget of the remakes of the Romero flicks-which by the way I like).
I notice that This Is England is posted, but I’m shocked none of Shane Meadows other films are. Two other extremely notables by Shane:
Dead Man’s Shoes- My personal favorite
A Room For Romeo Brass-
(different director but good also is-
24 Hour Party People-
All three of these movies contain one Paddy Considine, he fucking pwns. and the last of which a Steve Coogan. Who coincidentally also seriously pwns, and also plays Alan Partridge and sometimes makes me pee a little with laughter.
Like in this scene where he has impaled his foot on a spike, pulled it out, then had to immediately deliver a sales awards speech…while injured.
