They look pretty awesome. Who can beat them? Pittsburgh?
who can beat them?
Ravens, Patriots, colts, Giants to name a few
Who can beat them?
New England
Pittsburgh
Indy
Dallas if Romo plays un puss-like.
But true, they do look good. This, of course, depends on Brett staying healthy.
Giants are looking good too. It can be done.
Eh, who knows man. It’s week 5 in the NFL, you can’t make predictions yet that are anything but guesses.
Everyone was on the Jet’s at this time last year too, and they fell apart at the end.

I agree with Pittsburgh but don’t see the others. Indy? Great QB obviously but not the same level of overall strength.
On the field, the players look as good as anyone. The coaching staff, on the other hand… Well, I just wouldn’t want to depend on Childress out-coaching anyone. But if they continue to play well, they might not have to worry about that one.
They’re really not even THAT good.
God I hate nut-hugging early in the season. It’s not even a quarter-way over.
There will be teams in the playoff picture in Week 16 that we thought were out of it right now.
It’s a LOOONG season.
After last year’s debacle with the Jests, I mean Jets he may take the Vikings far. He was a poor fit with NY and anything would be an improvement. I agree that the season is still way too young to make any predictions.

There defense is probably the best at stopping the run…but their secondary is very hit or miss(outside of Winfield). I did keep wondering why they put their weak secondary at risk by blitzing when they have a front four that had no probs putting pressure on Rogers.
It’s great that the Vikes actually have a chance of scoring whenever Peterson isn’t having that great of a game. I hate it for the defense they face when both Favre and Peterson are in rhythm with the offense.

Since when do you start normal threads outside of PWI?
I said it before and I’ll say it again:
You need to step your game up. Or this may be the passing of the trolltorch from you to Jack Urboady.
I am going to go out on a limb here, and say that the Jets could be this year’s sleeper team. Mark Sanchez is playing like a kid having fun, and that usually makes QB’s dangerous. He reminds me of Brett Favre when he was younger.

Do you think he could go on the road in the playoff’s and win?
One good ass thumping and that team comes back to earth and shuts their mouth, but until then they will continue to play like men on fire.
They are a good team, but I just can’t put my money on a Rookie QB…

Don’t be bitter because your team sucks and You want to hug the Nuts. Vikings look great! They could use a bit of help in the secondary though. 4-0 Baby! Go Vikes
My broncos D is surprising me a LOT. I was one of the first ones to criticize McDummy, but now it looks like I may owe him an apology. If the offense can get clicking a little better with Moreno and Marshall/Royal/Sheffler, they could be pretty good.
V
Within their own conference i say the Bears, Giants, Saints, and Eagles could all give them a problem.

Weren’t you the guy who had the Arizona Cardinals Gif last year? My apologies if you weren’t.
Yeah, I’m disappointed in my team, but that doesn’t cloud my judgement of the Vikings. My team, who’s probably 8-8 at best, had a few bad plays that would have otherwise cost them the game.
I can think of a few teams, off the top of my head better than the Vikings.
Saints
Patriots
Jets
Ravens
Giants
And I think the Cowboys, with Marion + Felix, are better as well.
The Vikings have ‘looked great on paper’ for the last three years. They’ve had two playoff berths, but that’s it.
Plus, it’s reassuring to know that if (and when) the Vikes do get to the playoffs, #4 will find a spectacular way to ruin their entire season, as I’ve experienced many times in the past.
WHO IS IN LARRYDAVID’S AVATAR

My guess is Tony Romo, because he certainly isn’t in the huddle playing quarterback.

Are you kidding me. As a HUGE Jets fan you have no clue whats going to hit you in the face 6 weeks from now.
It is way way to early in the season to start calling out superbowl contenders.
Teams that could beat them today.
N.Y G,
N.O.
Ind.
Pitt.
Den.
The entire AFC East.
