A handstand is a foundational strength element in gymnastics, but if getting stronger is your goal, I’m not sure I’d spend a lot of time on it. I think a handstand requires more balance and body awareness than any significant degree of strength.

…no actually it feels really good … i think i have bad circulation in my legs- or my blood sort of pools there after sitting all day, and it just feels fucking good to be upside down for a few minutes. and all that shit about core strength.
