Brain Function Boosters

Geranamine…

OH GOD. Lol

This shit is amazing. I tried some for the first time today, to help prep and take my final exams. I lifted with it in my system.

I set 3 PR’s, did everything full out, and felt like I could have gone through anotehr session after I was done, really I was ready to go run a couple miles.

I set a front box squat PR (it was lower body day).
After I was totally done with my day, i was still really wanting to lift. So I hit a weighted pullup PR and a pushups rep PR.

I took a shower/bath combo, and actually fell asleep in the bath, something I’ve never done before, probably cause I just pushed my body way beyond itself. But I was in this incredibly deep, focused, meditation like state, without any effort.

After my shower I collapsed and took a nap, still incredibly focused, but my body was done. I had a great power nap, got up feeling refreshed and still extremely focused.

I was like so focused and ready to go, it was impossible for me to procrastinate on things. I have gotten right down to working. I have gone through my physics textbook, and after reading somethign one time, it feels totally fresh in my mind.

I’m liking this stuff, a lot

Quick polling type question for all you students out there currently taking a noop stack:

How do you study? What are your study methods for exams?

Physics: Reviewing complicated concepts, not to much math work, just knowing variables and such.

Spanish: Lots and lots of flash cards and repetition. I will conjugate verbs until it becomes mindless.

Earth Science: Just flip through textbook to refresh mind

US History: Just flipping through my textbook to rememorize facts and relative dating.

My teachers all tend to hand out relatively specific study guides as to what we need to know. They break down the exam and everything so I understand what I need to know.

Physics and US History are state of NC made exams and are somewhat laughable. All multiple choice.

If my exams are multiple choice, I make sure my vocabulary is there. I feel like you don’t generally need a deep understanding for multiple choice, and can almost cross out two of the given answers anyways.
I swear taking multiple choice tests is a skill in itself.

I can’t say my Noop knowledge is anywhere to begin to tell you if something feels better for raw memorization or learning complicated concepts.

That’s similar to my study habits, although, I have all science courses right now so it’s kind of tough to just flip through the notes or text.

I usually find myself re-writing notes or making flash cards for a lot of it.

All my tests are multiple choice, but by no means laughable. Usually any of the choices is right to an extent, you just have to choose the “best” answer and two of the five choices are “non of the above” or “all of the above”.

Maybe I haven’t learned the skill of MC as well, but I find MC pretty difficult, at least at the level I’m at. Oh well

Geranamine sounds like some pretty sweet sheeot! Where can I find that?

Bushy, you were right. It was a little early to notice a huge effect. Today, I took an hour and just belted off some Microbiolgy then quizzed myself afterwords. There was a remarkable improvement on what I retained than before I took the noops. That’s huge for me. I’m not sweating my finals at all, thanks to your information. Extremely confident!

I laid off the oxy today. I’m only going to take it when I do a marathon study session. I am, however, interested in Geranamine.

Any experience or thoughts about that stuff, Bushy?

My Power Drive came in today. I am excited about getting to try it expecially since it is one of my oly lift training days. My coach has really been killing me lately i hope this stuff makes a difference.

I am expecting my vinpo today or tomarrow and My centro and HuprA by weeks end.

So i just ordered some Geranamine from bulknutrition and am interested in what I should stack it with.

Caffeine sounds like a go, and I might be cutting in the near future. Is this something I can stack with HRX, Spike?

What else should I stack it with. Currently have some DMAE, Atro-phex (another thermogenic with caffeine, vinpocetine, raspberry burps similiar to HRX)

Also, not really a booster, but a calmer. Picked up some sleep formula with Valerian root being the main ingredient and liked the results after 1 night. Might have to increase dosage to have better, longer sleep on the weekends, instead of waking up early after staying up late.

Thanks for the info Roweski.

Thanks for the help guys!

Another question regarding the capping - what type of caps should one be using? I’m trying to measure out 250mg and 600mg for aniracetam + oxa.

Question for bushidobadboy or anyone else who feels qualified. Alzhiemers and Parkinsons runs pretty rampant on the maternal side of my family, so obviously I’m concerned. I’ve been following this thread and have been trying to figure out a daily long term prevention protocol. Anyone have any suggestions?

Well one of the reasons I first considered vinpo, and why I intend to take it for the rest of my days, is because senile dementia and alzhiemers runs in my familly.

Senile dementia is nearly always worsened or triggered by age related decline in cerebral blood flow. Vinpo compensates for this.

As we age, lipofuscin (the ‘age pigment’) accumulates in our neurons, impeding correct function. Vinpo inhibits the build up of lipofuscin. Centrophenoxine actually removes it.

As we get older, the fine blood vessels in out brains become prone to rupture, starving areas of the brain of oxygen. This results in a ‘stroke’. As blood flow is restored, it actually damages those neurons which are still viable, close to the ‘dead’ neurons. This is called a ‘reperfusion injury’ and also occurs after brain trauma from accidents, etc. Vinpocetine is a powerful neuro-antioxidant and neuroprotecatant, proven to reduce reperfusion injury.

That’s why they sometimes mainline 70mg into stroke victims, to facilitate a more complete recovery.

Now all this stuff is very relevant, but here is some real world application for you.

My mothers friend Betty began to grow senile. Usual signs and symptoms of senile dementia. I ‘prescribed’ vinpocetine to her. According to her familly, the improvement was dramatic. QED, vinpo works for old people who are losing their marbles.

Bushy thanks so much for your reply. Coincidentally I’ve been taking vinpocetine (20mg) daily since this thread first started. I also take a ginko and huperzine combo along with Power Drive on a pretty consistent basis. What’s your opinion on the benefits of adding Acetyl l carnitne or alpha gpc? Any other compunds you think would be beneficial? Thanks again for your help.

If you recall from my earlier post, which you should especially with the noop-aided recall;) , I am studying for my SATs and using oxiracetam to study vocab. to get a 2300+. I was wondering how long before i study should i take it? I typically eat a few minutes prior to starting up a few hour session so should I just drink it with that orshould I take it an hour before I study or what?
Thanks again bushido

To the knowledgeable guys here:

I just bought some Vinpo. I also take Piracetam (800 mg/day). This Fall, I’ll be teaching a course I’ve never taught before and have to re-learn all this stuff this summer.

What can I add to the mix above? I’ve read portions of the thread and will re-read, but any extra input would be most welcome!

Welcome back HH!
I suggest Oxiracetam. Bushy has written a lot about how facts, etc, learned on oxi many moons ago can be pulled from your arse with little effort - so to speak. I can attest to that aspect, with things I don’t think i know, flowing out onto paper.
Personally I’m still testing combinations out so I can’t give you much advice on a specific stack, but Huperzine-A is probably a noteworthy daily addition, as is Geranamine - i find it similar to spike at high enough dosages [75mg] without the stimulation.

Oxi’s effects may be of great use considering you’re a teacher, and your class may bombard you with questions about the topic area/s. This may allow for diminished time prepping lessons, or allow you to bombard the incessant whiners with your vast and limitless knowledge

Again, thanks bushy for the help.

A few of you guys mentioned a lot of increased concentration with some of the noops. I’m curious about athletic performance as well -
are there any readers here who are on the powerlifting side. If so, how did this affect the O-Lifts?

I bought the vinco, huperzineA, and glutamine. It shipped today. I’m still studying my financial exams in the sparetime. I’ll be extremely anxious to report back the difference in before and after noops. I shouldn’t be even trying this exam; I figure it’ll help out my career a lot. But it’s hard. Sigh.

I’m going to finish my shipment from bulknutrition today. Had to buy a scale and all  (Not on that site though. Ridiculously overpriced scales).

Oxiracetam sounds like the ideal thing, given the long-term memory enhancement. I’ll read some more of the thread about it. Thanks Roweski!

What should I take right before an exam? Is there certain things I should take at certain times?
