Bodybuilding Diet vs. Intermittent Fasting

Hi I am new on here so I hope the redundancy or location of this post does not offend anyone. I have just finished my first year of medical school, and in doing so my diet and training have fallen apart throughout the year. I am starting to get back on the bandwagon now.

Before medical school I used to eat every 3 hours. however recently I have read some good articles on here in defense of intermittent fasting. So now that I am getting back into things I am finding myself overly confused in how I should eat. So i was just hoping to get some input from you guys on how you eat, what works for you, why you eat how you eat, when you eat, what you eat, etc, because I am looking for a sustainable way to eat.

thanks!

Not to be an ass  but there are TONS of posts/threads about IF’ing and other traditional dieting styles. I’d highly suggest perusing the forum and reading previous posts.

There is no “right way”. Either way of eating will come with certain advantages and drawbacks.

This is how you should eat.

I’d definitely give both a shot if you are really unsure. I’d say choose the one that allows you to consistently hit you caloric needs, what will be easiest for you to adhere too, and the one you just ‘like’ overall.
