Got the back and shoulders waxed for the first time a few weeks ago. The hair grows back very slowly.
I am very hairy. I will get entire upper body waxed next trip.
Oh, the pain ain’t that bad. Nothing close to a four minute set of Tabata thrusts.

Think of all the pro atheletes that shave. Does anyone call Lance Armstrong a pansy for shaving or give him funny looks? NO! Does anyone make fun of Ronnie Coleman or Flex Wheeler for shaving? Hell NO! Dont’ worry about what others say or think.
Also, what do you guys with hairy backs do to remedy this embarrassing situation?[/quote]
Yes, a lot of people make fun of pro bodybuilders for shaving their bodies. And for oiling their bodies and posing on stage in thongs, for that matter.

Help, I have a tuff time shaving between my pecs. How do I get that area?? Thanks.
I’m probably going to start waxing. However here does it do you do it at home and have you done your entire upper boady ie. chest, abs, arms. I’ll stick to shaving my pits and crotch as I’m NOT waxing them. Legs probably wouldn’t be to bad. How long do you have to let the hair grow to wax? How long from one waxing to the next? Any brand reccommended for wax or exfoliant. I HATE ingrown hairs.

You have to go right to left… unless you have really big pecs, but it still might work.
5-7 weeks until the hair grows back? I might have said it wrong, I was wondering how long till the hair grows back? BTW, thanks for your answer ![]()

2.) When they ask you if you shave, try this. Say: “yup”.
Of course, you could liven that up a little. I say “yup. If I don’t, people want to feed me bananas”. But then I realize, that’s not such a bad thing. I like bananas.

Sometimes I say, “Nope. I have Female Pattern Baldness. Still have to shave my mustache, though.”
Dude I talked to my girl about that and it would be REALLY expensive (at least more then I’d think about paying) to get my body waxed ie. chest, abs, arms, back and all of my legs. That’s alot of waxing. What do you guys pay for that?
I tried waxing my abs and chest the yesterday. FUCK THAT! I don’t know how you girls do that to your cooch? God bless you though. It’s back to the razor for me.

C’mon Wide, go for the full back, crack and sack wax. I’m sure that won’t hurt that much;-D

I did half my abs and chest, then i seriously had to stop. The first pull litterally made me stagger it hurts so bad. Then I went I kinda numb and thought I was good. I was wrong. I finished what was left with some Nair for Men, not terrible but it does burn a bit. Probably your best bet if you dont’ wanna/can’t shell out the $ for lazer removal. Home waxing for men anyway is NOT a good idea…AT ALL. I’ve had over 40 hours or so of tatoo work done and the pain is probably worse, almost definitely.
Im just new to this site and glad i came across this forum. Im a hairy bloke but I use creams and hair inhibitors. Thing is though when i first started talking hair of my body i done my back, chest and shoulders but left my arms and it looked well weired cos my arms are hairy. But now i do my arms aswell.
When I first done it a mate tried to talk the p*ss about them saying I got womens arms and that but I feel a lot more confident now wearing short sleeves in the summer rather than always hiding behind long sleeves like i used to, feels cooler aswell
and new people you meet dont know you used to have hairy arms.
I used to get the odd comment about them when they were hairy saying do you want a banana and all that. But no matter what you do in life someone will always make a comment about somthing so just do what makes you feel good about yourself is what i say.
Those that say be a man and dont shave etc dont know what its like being hairy trying to cover up cause of embarrasment (or maybe thats just me)
If you feel better about yourself with taking your hair off then do it:) . I would suggest trying a hair inhibitor though it slows hair growth and makes it finer when it starts to grow back but it takes months dont expect results within days you need to keep at it. Apperently its supposed to stop hair growth altogether eventually but if i could have lighter thiner hair that would do me fine.
I got my legs waxed, because normally were very hairy and i soon found the regular deep tissue massages on my legs provided by the sports therapist i was working with far more painful than the waxing could ever be. Initially i was self concious about it, having to explain why i needed to wax my legs to anyone that asked. I had my reasons and got over it.
Waxing was only once roughly every 8 weeks. Now i dont wax because its expensive as hell but the waxing has caused my leg hair to regrow very fine and light, so shaving it is easy now.
Yeah I’m pretty sure I didn’t do it right. My girls sister says she waxes guys all the time all over the place and they aren’t that bothered by it. I’m not ego tripping but I know I have a good pain tolerance, plus when I explained how I did it and that I did it myself she kinda looked at me like I was nuts.
Hey could new guy who commented on the hari remover creams and anti-regrowth stuff pm me or mention what products he uses. Thanks!
What kind of places do you guys go to get waxed? I have thought about it but not sure of what type of places do this

I don’t know about anyone else, but this is what my living room looks like. I don’t know who that bitch is (she just shows up for no damn reason) but I usually just wax that ass right there.
to people considering laser hair removal. Make sure you shop around. I paid $3000 for 6 treatments on my back. Thought that was the end of my problem, but it started growing back about 1 month later. The treatments did reduce the thickness by about 50%, but I still have to shave it about every 10 days. I use the razorba, it’s just like an extension to your arm, and it works awesome.
Who really cares what people think? I love the way it looks and feels, I shave everything from my head all the way down to my ankles.
One thing I hiughly recommend is the emjoi hair epilator, I only use it on my calves, but the hair grows back so fine, and sporadically. Hurts like a motherfcker the first couple of times-i’m talking screaming pain, especially if your hairy like I was, but it works awesome.
I have had back hair since I was 17. I first shaved it then tried nair. I got it waxed once but it started to grow back just as fast as when I shaved or used nair. I have seriously been considering laser. I just moved to the east coast and I hate trying to shave my back before I go to the beach. No girl’s have every complained about my chest. I had one girl say she normally didn’t liked hairy guys but that my chest didn’t bother her. For some reason my back is the hairiest part of my body.
