Ok so back to training today. Did a little “PUSH” day today and I’m gonna do a “PULL” day tomorrow just to get the blood flowing and get back in the gym. Things went pretty well despite the long days, not much sleep (ayyoooooh) and copious amounts of adult beverages and nachos in the lodge after skiing.
AM: 3+ mile run. Not a very fast pace… probably 9:30 ish? trying to condition my shins again because of the compartment syndrome. Went well. I need to up my conditioning like a mofo and drop a little more weight before the academy starts in almost 6 weeks. Higher rep ranges and lower rest periods here I come.

Workout was good but I was definitely tired by the end. My tri’s were lookin hyoooooooooge though… that was nice. Gonna go back in a couple hours with my wife (woaaaaaah not fiance anymore) and train her. I’lll probably do some KB swings, jump ropes, lateral raises and that sort of thing for some extra work and conditioning. I weighed in at 209.5 with shoes and my iphone in today. I’d really like to get down to the low 200’s before the academy. If I could drop a solid pound of “fat” a week and be 200-203 by then that would be awesome. I think i’d be looking/feeling great.
