mmatt- lol, no offense taken my man. I don’t think they’re anything special either. They get thick, but they don’t really “peak” like i want. I’ve lost .75 inches on them during my layoff but I’m sure it’ll come back soon enough.

Just smashed up some traps and abs. Nice quick little workout today. Finishe with some stair master. BW is up to 209 so that’s up 3lbs in 2-3 weeks… I’m happy with that since I’ve been doing some low intensity SS cardio after almost every session to keep fat gain at bay. Hoping to just keep on keepin on.

Weighed in at 209 today and would like to stay around 210 but leaner. If I could keep gaining strength while getting leaner/bigger I’d be happy. My joints just feel better at 210 or less. When I was 220 I didn’t like how i felt.

Greg, update on the fitness test? not sure if you shared the results on fb.

Hey Fro!

the physical testing thing (CPAT) was a joke. The “hardest” part is the first event where you have to do the stairmaster for 3:30 @ 60 steps a minute while wearing a 75lb weight vest and you cant grab/hold onto the handles lol… After that its a walk in the park (literally… you have to walk. They wont let you jog or run)

Its a good thing to have I guess? Its just another check in the box when it comes application time.

That stairmaster sounds fun!

First leg workout since before the academy (early January some time)

My right knee has been feeling kinda tweaked and I’ve had pain/soreness right below my right knee cap. Been resting, foam rolling, stretching and doing a butt load of stair master. I’ve tried to hit legs a couple times already but had pain instantly so I never went beyond one set of anything.

Decided to give it a go today and have destroyed my legs.

Leg Press: wanted to start here and see how my knee felt. Had nothing planned for the day and just went from here.

All sets 2-3 second negatives and no lock out
2,3,4,5pps x 20 each

Lying hammie curl: 2 second negatives
110x 12,12,12,12

Leg extensions: you guessed it… 2 second negative w/pause & squeeze at top

Decided to try out squats after this
BB Back Squat:
135x10,10
225x10
315x 5 and halfway down on my 6th my right hamstring cramped so bad I just collapsed lol. Thank God for squat racks.
135x20 stripped it down and finished with this. Can  barely walk. No stair master for me today.

Awesome day for first leg day in 4+ months. Felt good to finally squat again.

Heading up to Santa Cruz to the families beach house for Memorial Day weekend. Should be awesome. Hope everyone has a fun filled and safe weekend!

Decided to get up and get in one more workout before our trip. Couldn’t justify 5 days off do I figured I’d get a little full body pump work in so that my muscles decide not to fall off this weekend. Didn’t eat anything beforehand because of time constraints but still felt good in the gym.

100x 12,12 (<— probably the best MMC of my life with these. I swear I could feel the individual muscle fibers working throughout each rep. I think pre-exhausting with the above superset might be my go to starter on back day)

Stair Master and outtie… BW is up to around 207 first thing this morning . Slowly my strength is getting there, I’d like to get a little bigger and a little leaner… Ideally I’d be 210 with 8-10% BF and stronger. Legs are sore as balls today. #feelingoodbrah

Personally, I would like to get a lot bigger and a lot leaner, but I’m not Rippedabz McAbzersauce like Greg though, so both of our end results are likely the same, lol.
