All part of being a good host. I had to sample about half a keg for my halloween party just to make sure no one was messing with it.

AshburtonGhost- no problem… Not the absolute best days but pretty standard.

Scj- it’s rough being the host isn’t it? Haha

Woke up today and my low back is still really tight. Went to the gym with my fiancé again and did 30 minutes of incline walking which helped loosen me up a bit then trained her. Gonna ice it, hot Epsom salt bath, ice it etc. today and see of that helps. Today is supposed to be back day but I don’t really see that happening. Maybe if I’m feeling good ill do some pull ups/pull downs but probably not. I should be smart about this and rest it so a small thing doesn’t turn into a bigger thing.

BW was 211 first thing in the morning. Losing another 6lbs of fat would be awesome. 205 and leaned up? Heck yeah.

^^^ that sucks bud. I actually did the exact same thing last night. Played a little ball to get loose for legs and tweaked it somewhere in that first game. Tried to do legs but even 185 was too much so called it. Foamroll, stretch and rest man. You’ll be back in no time.

And, I still think ol’ boy is completely serious.

Yeah youd look pretty crazy at 200-205 dude, diet looks pretty cool some of those things are looking appealing to me right about now lol

LOL @ activities levels. To echo everyone else, that is one thick looking top-to-bottom chest… but what struck me more was the chest/delt tie-in… pretty damn legit. Nice work buddy

Hi Gregron! Just stopping by to say hello. I know your wedding is coming up soon, and I realize it may have been awhile since you had “the talk”. So I thought this little comic strip might be informative.

How’s your back doing today? I just want to say, Halloween candy is an acceptable carb source. I recommend the Peanut M&Ms.

We would make millions as cockula and rambo hahaha

Are you of legal age though? I don’t think you are. Your face clearly says you’re 17.

ewww. sucky and discouraging indeed. Heinosity.

How feeling today?

I just finished my first interview with my fire dept yesterday, this process is a very long one lol. I took the written and physical back in May. I hope they give us the interview results a tad bit faster.

hi. I made you a video. its in my log.
<3 you

Hope your feeling better!

Hey everyone… I’ll respond to all you guys and gals when I get home to my computer.

Went back to the gym yesterday evening and did 30 more minutes of incline walking to loosen things up (so an hour… Well, 65 minutes total yesterday)

Still feeling tight this morning but not as bad. I know it’s just mental but I feel a lot smaller after taking these two days off… I feel like I’m shrinking up right before my own eyes lol. I need to get back in the gym!

whiteflash- what is wrong with us? We arent that old and keep getting stupid little injuries… WTF?!? lol

Agger- Thanks man and I think i’d be lookin alright at that weight too. Feel free to steal any food ideas that you’d like. I havent posted much food stuff lately but I’ve got a few good recipes up my sleeve.

Jake- Thanks bud. I think the chest delt tie in area is attributed to the large amount of dips/weighted dips that I do. I feel like its great for that area.

PowerPuff- Hey you! Havent seen you round these parts lately? Everything is going good and the wedding is coming up SOON! One month from today actually… CRAAAAAZY! hahaha. Back is feeling slightly better but not great :frowning: Are you going to be starting up a new log or anything?

Ct Rock- hahaha we would make a killing! A little Ebony and Ivory… My face may look like a 17 year old but I’m quite a bit older than that.

Hallowed- Feeling a bit better today. Got in the gym and did a few things which probably didnt do much except make me feel better/not so much like a lazy fatty lol.

Elmore- You did? Thats awesome! No one out here in Southern California is really hiring right now unless you already have your paramedic license which sucks for me. Hoping to get into the academy this time cause that’ll be a good start.

Sweet D- I seent it! Thanks… you’re such a good E-Friend.

Ok so I did a little bit of something something today and i feel a lot better. My back doesn’t necessarily feel much better but I do. I always feel like a turd if I take more than a day or two off.

My good buddy (the new workout partner) is still in the military and has his PRT coming up so we decided to do a mock one today to see where he was at. I didnt do the push ups or sit ups but I did run the timed mile and a half with him. We were just going to pace ourselves and take it easy but it quickly became a competition (obvi) and were running pretty quick by the end.

Finished the mile and a half in 9:07 and I was dying hahaha. I never run and if you combine that with the chilly air temp I was sucking wind! 9:07 isnt a bad time though so i felt good about that.

Got in the gym today and did some light shoulder stuff to get a little pump going. Everything I did for shoulders was seated which took my low back out of it and felt nice.

DB Shoulder Press:
40’s x 20
65’s x 10, 10, 10
80’s x 6 (had to do one “heavy” one)

DB Lat Raise:
25’s x 12, 12, 12

DB Front Raise:
20’s x 10, 10, 10

Lat Raise to Overhead:
15’s x 12, 12

Face Pulls: (not seated)
60lbs x 10, 10, 10

super set with chest to bar pull ups
10, 10, 10

that was all. Whole workout took about 35-40 minutes. Just a little pump work to get the blood flowing and make me not feel bad about the giant burger, fries and beer (or two) that I had for dinner last night. Hope everyone is having a great week!

Impressive run time! This latest entry has made me feel very guilty about neglecting cardio for the past 6 months or so…

It’s 'cause when we were younger we thought when older cats said “listen to your body” it translated to “I like dudes way more than normal”, and that didn’t jive. Now I realize that even if they did in fact like dudes more than normal, they were on to something.

Speaking of liking dudes, you’re looking pretty stout these days. Your arms and shoulders are no joke.

Awesome quote brother.

I see you’re doing all straight sets now? How’s that working out for ya?? Something you’ll probably keep??

Try what I tried today next time you do shoulders - low pulley, rope attachment, face away from the stack. Front raises. Play with the arm position and ROM till you get it just right.

I think you will <3 it.

I love how 80 lbs is “heavy”, great stuff man. Lots of serious motivation is gotten from this log

I’m excited for ya. Pics of the big day required. I’m sure the ROM in your back will be back to normal by the honeymoon. I’m still lifting, and working on my flexibility a lot because I want to take ballet in January. I started trying to mess with some carb cycling to see if I can lean down my legs a bit. Other than that same 'ol. No log for now, but I do miss connecting with everyone.
