phlegms- Oh yeah I love dips. It was a nice way to start out the workout… really got my tri’s pumped and primed for the workout.

MiM- you’re probably right… cleaning things up a bit and actually trying to stick with some cardio lol. Yeah I did the RFL back after my shoulder surgery when I was a skinny fat little turd lol. I dont know if I would really want to do it again right now though… It would be interesting to see how it effected me though… hmmmm.

Frenchie- Yeah the tux is pretty baller. I’m definitely pumped on it. I’ll throw up some pics after the wedding of course :slight_smile: The weight loss thing isnt so much about looking better (although that is always a plus) but its more of an experiment for my joint health… Im not a fan of these small nagging injuries.

Matty- you cant do dips? Shoulder issues? Dips are prob my totes fave exercise… I feel like they’ve done so much for my tricep strength/thickness and they most definitely have helped with my pressing strength.

Slept horribly last night. not sure why I couldnt fall asleep but I finally dozed off at 5AM and then got up for the day at 9AM lol…

Got in the gym tonight and blasted my 'Ceps. First day doing biceps only in, well, probably forever. I have a feeling I wont be able to use my arms tomorrow.

Started with straight bar curls w/ back resting on a pad:
115lbs x 6, 6, 6, 6 (all with a slow negative. no body english at all)

Wide grip straight bar curls:
115lbs x 6, 6, 6,

EZ Bar Curls:
45lbs on each side x 8, 8, 8

Single Arm Cable Hammer Curl:
not sure how much but 3 x 8

Single Arm DB Preacher Curl:
35lbs x 8, 6, 6 (arms were so absolutely destroyed it was insane)

Finished with 2 sets of “21’s” with the 45lb bar LOL

I think that was all? There are probably a few sets here and there that I missed but oh well. I honestly couldnt even touch my own nose after the workout cause my biceps were so pumped lol. Crazy.

Watched a ton of football today. USC vs Notre Dame game was awesome and I cant believe the ending of the Michigan State and Wisconsin game… so wild. Watching the Texas Tech vs Oklahoma game now and then going out with some buddies for “Rocktober Fest” yeaaaaah buddy!

As far as dips I loved them did them all the time with pretty decent weight (120lbs 5 reps) but my shoulders felt like they were going to tear off after a while, I cant even do the HS seated dip the movement kills me, however I haven’t attempted any dips in about 6-7 months about at the same time I stopped flat benching. I started flat benching again because of the upcoming meet, with very little pain…Ill attempt the dips next ME upper day…maybe the rest helped.

115 for 7 sets of 6 on curls? Jeeessuuss. No wonder your arms are that much bigger than mine. I need to get on your level. That tricep sesh looks intense too. Did you change up your split? Or are you just hitting whatever whenever you have time?

Matty- hahaha “Master Bro Curl” would be an accurate title lol. We were curling forever. It was pretty good. A little more than I would have probably liked but it was still good. Arms were thoroughly smashed… more variation next time though. That sucks about your dips. You should try giving them a go again and see how they feel. Do you do shoulder rehab/prehab stuff? Thats really helped me.

Blaze- Thanks mi amigo. I guess you could say that I changed my split. I just started doing my buddies split. Right now its Chest, Legs, Back, Shoulders/Traps, Triceps, Biceps, Off and repeat. I’m interested to see how it works out. Should be good.

Oregand- No shame up in here… you’ll get to where I’m at now and blow past it. Just stay consistent!

225 x 6, 6, 6 (got all 3 sets of 6 so I’ll more of to 235 next week)

Flat BB Bench:
275 x 6, 6, 6 (just like incline I got all 6 clean with no spot so I’ll move up to 285 next week)

Incline Smith:
235 x 8, 8, 6 (smoked)

Low to High Cable Flys:
40lbs x 12, 12, 12 drop to 30 x some drop to 20 x some more

Single Arm Pec Deck: These are killer. The extra few inches of ROM you get is where its at
80lbs x 10, 10, 10 w/ Squeeeeeeeeeeeeze. Yeah buddy

then weighted abs for a while. Finished with a little conditioning.
12lb Med Ball - Wall balls x 20
100 jumps with speed rope

did 4 rounds of that and went home. Pretty good workout. Now I’ve got wedding stuff and errands to run. busy busy.

Steve- We’ve been hitting incline chest twice every chest day. The second incline variation is either DB’s or Smith. Last week was DB Inline so we hit up Smith Incline this time. The picture is from our Engagement Photo session. We got a ton of pic… it was fun. I was nervous cause I dont take good pics but they turned out pretty good. My fiance is a natural though. She had a ton of good ones.
