Seems like quality of nutrients makes a difference then. I won’t be able to afford the meat everyday lol, but i should be able to pull off eggs/butter/etc…the longer lasting/cheaper stuff. Poor students these days, I’m tellin ya.
Harry- Im taking a history course and 4 fire protection courses this semester. I’m not working ATM, the GI bill pays me a housing allowance so thats my paycheck these days.

Ok so the workout this morning went pretty good. Weighed in at 212. Foam rolled at 5:30 this morning before heading to the gym and it was HORRIBLE! ahhh so many spots that just killed. Ive been neglecting the soft tissue work lately… not anymore

Post got eaten - greg what is “1 week”? Do you mean week 3 of 5/3/1 where it’s 5 reps on first set, 3 on the second, and 1+ on the third? That’s the only week with a set of 1 rep prescribed… unless you’re doing a version I’m not aware of?

Pulls looked good, and you coulg have gotten 8, so I’ll say I was accurate in my estimation. My hands still hurt from my pulls the other night with my new bar. I’m such a vag sometimes, LOL
How much weight do the handle bars add to your pulls?
Solid deadlifting duder, totes get on the foam rolling train. The difference between workouts I foam roll before and those I don’t is really night and day, especially squat days.
Nice pulling man. They all seemed pretty smooth. You def do a more controlled negative than I do. Maybe I’m just lazy haha. BB lunges? Death. I hate lunges in all forms.
Goddamn, your log is probably the most active per post of all. Your making it worthy of the input with the quality vids though <3 Awesome training and good pulling. DW about my total catching yours, as long as you keep getting stronger you should still be ahead of me even when I’ve put on 10-15lbs of bodyweight for sure!

@blaze, gotta hate lunges! I’d still do them again if I thought they really hit harder then some other choices even though they are horrible, but I’m not sure I believe they do tbh…

blaze- Thanks brah, the reps were pretty smooth. I do a slower negative for a couple reasons: 1. To get a little more stimulation in during the negative & 2. Those plates are loud as shit and I DL in this little cove area of the gym and it echos like a mofo and everyone stares lol. u no lunge? so good for ya!
jake- my log is like white water rapids… its moving so fast that if you fall overboard you’ll get lost forever lol. Glad you guys like the vids and the food pics/write ups. I try to keep things interesting! more vids to come.

Nice benching! I should totally try deadstop rows. My uni gym DBs go up to 110s and when I got up to 27 reps for kroc rows (straps obv) I dropped them. Progression could be > deadstop > deadstop with a hold > fml no heavier dumbells

Jake- I like the deadstop rows. My gym has 120lb DBs but my grip/hands were shot by then so I stayed at the 110’s. I like to keep my form tight on rows. I like that outlined progression. I like to do a pause squeeze at the top but was smoked yesterday so I didn’t.

Ok so I am extremely sore today bi’s, tri’s and Lats are hurting this morning and I’m FRIGGIN tired! That double dipper yesterday really wore me out. Class, laundry, clean the house, squats, pack for my trip… It’s gonna be a long day
