Body Adapting to Diet?

we know that our bodies adapt to our workouts after a period of several weeks, but does the same hold true for our diets? Can we eat the same thing for months on end and expect to get consistent results.

for example, ive been bulking for the better part of the year, and ive noticed my weight gains steadly declining. Now this could obviously be from a number of reasons, but is it possible that my body is adapting to the same meals i eat day in and day out? just wondering any thoughts?

Your body will adjust to the calories you consume just like it will adjust to your workouts. What you needed to do when you started out and what you need now should be different, hence you should adjust your diet accordingly.

Another issue you might be having is eating the same exact foods too often can lead to food allergies. By this I don’t mean you’ll neccessarily break-out or get a rash or something from the foods you eat, it’s just that your body might not be using the food efficiently and might be resistive to the nutrients from your diet, try switching foods on a regular basis. It will also releive some border and monotony.
