Want to look at the Velocity diet also… Trouble finding a link that gives info on the diet itself.

I have done it Bob, my honest opinion I could only do this cause I have been dieting off and on for 15 years. It is not an easy thing and if you are going to pay $500 you dont want to fail.

I have to agree with DJ. I would work on cleaning up your own diet right now coupled with a consistent exercise routine and you’ll see results.
Sorry sorry - I meant the Paleo diet
tap tap tap…you never said how you rocked it out at gym?
Hang tuff!

Now Paleo is a winner in my book, been doing a modified paleo for a while now.
I cant go with out cheese, so the milk products no.no just will not float with me.
The same with the beans, like anything the Paleo can start drinking its own Koolaide.
But is a great mix of dietary, protein, fats and carbs from veggies and fruits.
My other problem is I like my alcohol a few days a week. Good luck there is a ton of websites and information about Paleo.

You want links, you got links:
DJ, I’ve found that a small bit of cheese & cream works OK on Paleo. The high fat stuff (butter, cream, etc) works better than the high carb stuff (ice cream).
Modified Paleo allows alcohol. The trick is to make sure the source of the alcohol is Paleo cleared. Wine (from grapes) is OK, beer (from barely & hops) isn’t.

I love cheese, and I put heavy cream in my coffee.
Alcohol is mostly Tequila which is a plant.
I rarely drink beer any longer, football season is the hardest. I love chicken wings and Guiness.

And bump
Hello, Bob?
Uh hemmmm…
Up Scale - thanks for the ‘tap tap’ and for the profile pic (nice pic)
DJHT - ever thought of Captain Morgan and Diet Dr. Pepper (zero carbs) - great taste!
All - I’ve been hiding from everyone as I’ve been continously rocked by illnesses and issues (poison sumac, the return of poison sumac, attack of the killer earache twins, and my girlfriend left me) all which leaves me in a serious state of ‘pity bob’. I’ve been enjoying my own little pity party and have been avoiding this forum because I’m such a pussy right now.
Hope everyone is doing great!
I will be back to the gym, just have a general sense of I don’t care about anything right now. It seems it is all I can do to get up, go to work, and crawl back to bed…

Force your self to get to the gym!! Just having a sense of accomplishment doing something will have a profound effect on your mood and your confidence!! So yea, stop being that pussy you hate and do something different for a change. You can do it!
EDIT: hope that wasnt too harsh. Also sorry to hear of the relapse.

This x2
You can do this Bro!
Glad to see you back, Bob!
I know all about depression, I get it from my father. It pounded him so hard he never had any friends or social life. It beats me up from time to time and it’s all I can do to make it to the gym. Thank goodness, cause a good workout gets the happy juices flowing.
We’re all behind you, pal.
If i let it the black dog sits on my chest often enough…lifting definitely helps keep it at bay.
Welcome back Bob!
Now pitter-patter, let’s get at 'er!!

All it takes is the first step Bob break that bad cycle. We all go through the poor me you know this. Hope you get back on the horse, good luck.
And yes I have had multiple types of Rum with Diet Dr. Pepper one of my favorite drinks.
Last year in November I decided to give up diet drinks, now I will have one of course. But I was drinking a 6 pack of diet soda’s a day, well dont think that is to good for me.
Anyway so I dont keep the Diet Dr. Peppers in the house to much temptation.
