Bobbi's Got a Brand New Bag

One of my favorite paleo recipes is making meat sauce (combining ground beef/turkey/whatever with sauce, onions and garlic) and dumping it over some veggies.

I’ve been trying paleo for about two months now but it is very hard to stay consistent. You will get very tired and cranky in the beginning! I haven’t stayed with it long enough to get out of that stage, I ended up just eating a massive hero lol

Wow Bobbi, take a month or two deload, so I can have a CHANCE at keeping up.

Groceries sounds awesome, can’t wait to hear how you like it.

Thanks for the idea Dani. We’re not doing it strict. With the way i workout there’s no way i could not have carbs. Were just throwing in a potato at dinner and some fruit to keep it sane. Hopefully I’ll lean out a bit. I lift in a Mecca gym and all of these pro figure girls are making me feel like a fatty. Lol

Nikki i have to catch up to you on squats!

Speed day got a little heavy but I’m pretty sure that means my deadlift is over 250 by a lot…

Shit Bobbi, I’m jealous of your DL progress. Keep us posted on how the paleo-type diet impacts your strength. I get a just leave me here to die kind of attitude if I don’t have my carbs. I’m a carb/cardio addict.

Believe me, with my diet and mood, you’ll surpass my squats shortly.

Nice pulling, and what a wicked arm session! 13 circuits… I can dig it.

Nice job! The speed work is a lot. Looks tough!

wow, interesting, most don’t do sumo rack pulls and I’ve never heard of rack pulls for speed. Let me know how it transfers to you regular sumo pull.

Are the briefs helping keep your hips supported? I’m thinking, after this next meet, to get a larger pair of briefs and work on my sumo pull, yea…less rom and all…

Thanks guys. So far so good on the diet. We just went cold turkey and toss everything out so its tough breaking the nightly habit of eating and tv.

Vikki- the guys on my team who pull Sumo rack pull Sumo as well. I usually start conventional and switch as it gets heavier. The briefs are more for my groin and they do what they were meant to do. Remember they’re super loose but im starting to get curious about what id get out of them if they fit well.

My late night impressions of my lifting partner Ricardo
