Bmbrady77 Lab Results

It is always nice to have someone else on the other side of a bet.
Best of luck to both of us on how bmbrady’s E2 turns out @150/wk with no AI

Oops I think I responded to wrong guy. My bad haha :slight_smile:glad the nipples are good

No problem I do agree with you it is more than likely the T increase and not a sign of the beginnings of gyno. Gyno really takes a long time to get and you have to over look or not understand the warnings signs.

Yes that’s what I’ve read. Correctoid you are sir.

I’ll be doing a week long case study on myself starting in the morning. The goal here is to shock the body, shock the motivational drive, and do a complete water flush. I also thought it would be fun to see how far I can push myself in a one week time frame. Kind of give myself a better perspective of what I’m looking at as far as fat left to lose vs water weight / bloat.

If anyone is interested in following along, I’m logging the whole thing here…

Ok here are my latest lab results after switching from 50mg X 2 / week to 50mg X 3 / week (M, W, F)

I would love to get some thoughts and feedback. I’m stoked that my cholesterol numbers seem to be looking better. T is better but not quite there I don’t believe. TSH has also come down significantly.

Consult with Dr. Calkins on Monday at noon.

The numbers in red are from the last bloods 3 months ago…for comparison…

To be clear you went from 100 mg to 150mg total a week?

That is correct sir. I was surprised and thought I would have seen a bigger jump in T from a 50mg/week increase.

Testosterone could come up a bit more, TSH has a lot of room for improvement. I shudder to imagine where Free T3 and Reverse T3 levels are currently. It can’t be good if TSH has anything to say about it.

When thyroid hormone levels are low, your body doesn’t break down and remove cholesterol as efficiently, hyperthyroidism would see the opposite.

If you were to get TSH lower, thyroid hormone to the optimal levels, I wouldn’t be surprised to see SHBG increase significantly and the removal of cholesterol from the blood would be an easy process.

It was at 4.91. Now it’s at 2.35. Doesn’t that signify a vast improvement? I’m not well versed in thyroid theology.

Ironically, it’s been stated here, and probably rightly so, that SHGB fluctuates a ton over a typical day. Seems rather curious to me that mine seems to be rock steady so far.

Your free t is very good. Labs pretty good.

You haven’t told us how you feel?

First 3 weeks of the protocol change were hell. I thought my E2 was skyrocketing because I had high anxiety and very hard heartbeats at night. Couldn’t sleep most nights because of it. Then after that until last week, I have felt great.

I had my blood draw last Friday. Last Tuesday I had to go out of town, and was in a rush to leave because I was running late. In the rush to get out the door, I forgot to grab my kit. I missed Wednesday’s injection and had blood drawn Friday before my next injection. I sent an email to our resident endo asking if that would be an issue and if I should put off the blood draw for a week or so. He said that I was good to go so I went ahead on with the Friday draw.

Ironically, I started having anxiety from around Saturday night until Wednesday night this week, but felt great today. I wonder if missing that one shot caused a slight fluctuation after all?? I dunno?

I have a feeling I’m going to get bumped up again, and I look forward to the end result…but man I hate the journey to get there!!

Definitely an improvement, would be nice to see it closer to 1.0. Change in SHBG can be influenced by insulin levels among other things, Free T3 is a big factor.

If I were to miss an injection, it would upset the balance of other hormones for a couple of days as I can feel it.

Hope you level out bro. I always had 2-4 weeks of weird anxiety every time I changed dose or frequency. I feel as though my body adjusted after a while and normalcy came back.

If you missed and injection and took the labs , then that means you are days away form a peak right? I would suspect that is a low point in free t for your week . I bet you are much higher on friday if you hadn’t missed the injection. I would stick to my 150. That’s a 50.% increase

TSH: I would check ft3 . At the very least for historical record keeping and you can see if a lower tsh is really a good thing. Not because something must be wrong, but to follow what’s happening. At 4.9 it might of been super low.
At 2 it’s higher.

What’s odd is that almost everysixk doc would talk thyroid if you moved up 2 or 3 points. Yet 4.9 is not anything to be concerned about… how wonderful is our health care .

I stay on top of the only two “feel
Good hormones” we men have. A strong thyroid and a optimized free t makes a solid foundation. I wonder if you ever suffer from fatigue; midday naps, metabolism issues and the such. God knows I was sleeping by 2pm every day and could not stay awake. Now I don’t want to sleep.

Thyroid was a miracle fix for me. Sorry if I’m always talking thyorid thyroid and I hate to sound like a broken record. I just don’t ever see many folks talking about it… Well system and I are the thyorid preachers haha…

In over 4 years and close to 20 blood test taken at different times of the day on peak and trough days my SHGB does not move more than 5 points. 24-29 every time.
I have yet to see anyone who says its all over the place proving it with posted blood tests. It’s like we are just suppost to believe them. haha

I’ll bet Calkins bumps you to 180mg/wk I don’t think he likes 600’s and as long as your HCT and E2 are in check why not.

Don’t be sorry bro. It needs to be said and that stuff helps to further everyone here’s education. I really appreciate your input and your experience is just as valid as anyone else’s here.

I had a full thyroid panel run in my previous labs (above in this thread somewhere lol). The numbers weren’t ideal but Calkins wanted to see if getting T in a better place would ease the burden on the thyroid and help those numbers fall more into line. So far, with the decrease I see just in tsh on this lab I believe he may be on to something. I’ll see what he has to say about it for this round on Monday.

I would be ok with that, BUT, if we make another big jump like that I think I’m going to insist on bloodwork at 6 weeks this time, instead of 3 months. I don’t like to play around with hematocrit and I don’t want to see how far I can “push the line” so to speak. There’s some play room there now but not a whole lot.

Nothing wrong with that you can order mini blood test of just 2 or 3 things. I would even check discountedlabs for TT/FT sale for 30bucks. They also use labcorp. I buy them all the time because I can be a bad boy at times and I don’t want them to see my numbers.

That sounds like a solid plan to me!!
