Bluetooth Headphones for Weight Lifting?

Oh shit i forgot all about this.

I got the S11’s. They were about a hundred bucks. They are super customizable as far as fit goes, it actually took me forever to get them to fit comfortably, so at first i was pissed, but its just cause theres so many points of articulation. Once you get 'em they’re gold.

Sound quality is also solid. My only complaint here is that they aren’t louder. The 8 dollar panasonic headphones i got off amazon before getting the S11’s sounded as good and were louder. (however, those headphones are an incredible value, honestly the best headphone as far as bang for the buck goes, so that takes nothing away from the S11)

I was surprised how long the range was too. I heard people complaining that they had to have it strapped to their arm to get good reception. I have literally put my phone down by the leg press while streaming music, forgot about, got up and walked about 30 feet to the water fountain before it started breaking up.

Overall i’d give 'em an 8 out of 10.

BTW, those panasonic headphones i mentioned on amazon, i swear if you dont mind the cord they are unbelievable. 8 FUCKING dollars for headphones that have solid volume, great clarity, and i swear the fit is incredible for ear buds. They will not loosen up or fall out of your ears unless snagged and even then half the time they dont come out. I keep an extra pair in my truck in case i forget. Check em out.
Do you think they would work with a bike helmet? Skate style, not road style. Looks like the piece that wraps around the ear is fairly high. Corded headphones while riding can be a pain.

Couldnt say for sure. The way i wear mine, they are more around the back of my upper neck than my head.

The answer to this is quite simple. Don’t be cheap. If you really work out 1 to 2 hours a day 3 to 4 times a week. That’s 8 hours a week times 52 weeks. Which comes to 412 hours a year. Anything else you use for later long would have to be of great quality to last. One person said skull candy headphones that is so funny. Ha ha

I use beat studio wireless. The stay in place block out all the sound in the gym and last at least a year to 1.5 years with the usage I stated. They will last longer but they are not the same fit as new after 1 year of use. Best buy has the best deal of all time where you could buy them with geek squad warranty for 2 years and bring them back no questions asked and get a replacement since apple took over that has stopped but I still but another pair any way.

The break down comes to 1 dollar and 18 cents per hour of use in the gym over 1 years time.
The latest headphones are by far way better than last year’s or even the previous years.

This thread was over 2.5 years ago, how many brands of ear phones have come and gone since then?

He had to field test the head phones for that long in the gym.

Some tests you just can’t extrapolate the results

Beats are overrated.

I use Sony SBH20’s. Cheap, virtually no interference, and great quality. Keep them away from too much sweat and they work great.

Will do.
Please do. I’ve had several and they are never loud enough for the gym environment.

For those of you who listen to your smartphones for music, you should check out Skybuds.

Reviving old thread.

Has anyone used Jaybird x3 wireless TB earbuds? My Phaiser’s shorted out after a year of light use. Other ‘in ear’ style recommendations welcome. I don’t care for over the hear or headset style

I’ve got these:

They work pretty well for the price. I only really use them during cardio, though.
