Bloodwork and Estrogen Ratio

You may want to stay the course a bit longer. Quitting booze your levels I would think are going to change. Things are going to change Quitting alcohol. I would think a big change for your body

I think you’re right and maybe I should have shared that with @dbossa.

I did not drink for 5 months and had bloods done and then got them done after drinking heavily daily for a while and my bloods showed really no significant difference in anything.

Where is your BMI?

5’9 185lbs 15ish bf currently. Was over 20ish bf when I was drinking really heavy and often. Was much leaner during the 5 month of no drinking (abs). I thought the labs would have a drastic difference because of the body fat differences alone but there wasn’t.

Anything that upsets the natural balance/ratio of estrogen in the body is not something I would ever touch. In the case of the onset of gynecomastia, a SERM can be taken temporarily until symptoms improve. At the time, wean off, and symptoms typically do not return. However, taking it long term, with everything I know on the subject, is not advisable.

Ah! Yes! If you were drinking quite a on a regular basis and just stopped recently, give it some time like @charlie12 is saying, to see if your overall energy levels improve. I was unaware of this variable.

Well you are fairly lean, or leaner than I am at 5’11" and 216lbs. I think we would need to know what “heavy” means. Thats 6 beers a night on weekends for some people and other people its a liter of whiskey at day.

Heavy = shitting blood on multiple occasions.

I still cant quantify that but lets just say that mileage can vary. Are you prone to ulcers? I mean there are a lot of variables here. I don’t mean to question “heavy” but it is subjective.

Six or more beers 4 days a week. 3 days a week straight Canadian Club with additional shots of whatever for about 12 hours. At the time I had just got out of a 7 year relationship and was single for the first time in a while so I went a little crazy on the partying. Then it got old and I stopped for 5 months and eventually went to 2 beers a night. That said since moving to New Orleans recently it’s gotten a little crazy again but that’s about to stop.

Yeah that’s a bit. Glad you are cognizant of it.

TRT has made other vices less appealing thankfully.

Yeah I can credit TRT with my willingness and probably ability to quit booze.

I’m a little more than 5’11", 195lbs. I look smaller on these videos than I am in reality for some strange reason.

How did that brand work out for you? Just listened to some podcast and the guy was recommending sustained release and micronized for both DHEA and Preg.

I use them too. Only 10mg doubled my dheas.

I actually just stopped taking it for now. I took labs and if I have adrenal fatigue I want dr to see actual value of dheas. Also took am cortisol and progesterone. If all low my adrenals are f

Stopped for 2 days. Should be enough time I hope. I think it has short half life.

I felt same on it btw. Maybe helped lipids or a bit of belly fat. Idk

I was have burning tired eyes recently it seemed to stop when I stopped the dhea. I also started taking resvratrol recently.

I’ve had this recently too. Guess I’ll see when the DHEA runs out.

Still using it and it seems to do the trick. My DHEAS is looking great now.

I was reading this older post.
Total T of 1999! My friend takes T and his hit 1125 or so and his dr stopped the trt and cited heart attack and stroke risk. Scared my friend to death. That was an internist.

Any internist or GP that I’ve talked to…they all day the same. I’m flirting with stroke and heart attack if I do trt or if the level goes near 1000 for an extended time then I have bad things to look forward to in my 60-70’s if I make it there. They do their best to scare me like my friend.
