Hi guys… thanks in advance for all your help
I have been on test enanthate 125mg once weekly dose for 4 months
BEFORE AFTER
Total test 264 547
Free T 5.4. 16
Oestradiol 20 111
(41-159)
Shbg. 25. 16
Haematocrit 0.47 0.51
(0.38-0.5)
Creatine kinase 244. 880
Ferritin. 100. 30
The estradiol is the Uk test… range is in brackets below
Symptoms wise I have had increase in morning erections and moderate increase in libido
I have been working out regular at gym and seen good results in terms of fat loss body shape and overall strength and recovery
Compared to say week 4-5 it’s been plateau in terms of energy
Mental benefits not seen much difference but had no issues with that before starting
Cholesterol slightly raised but need to get diet on point
Any pointers? Initial thought was to increase to 150mg but split dose to twice weekly
Feel good but plateaued compared to earlier on week 4/5
Libido is good but could be a lot better and morning erection not as frequent as before
Shbg has lowered although still feel good compared to before trt
Also best results have been in the gym… man boobs 80% reduced and abs are actually showing
Ferritin has tanked though
Haematocrit slightly raised?
Yes lol I know that was honeymoon phase… but looking at numbers and with oestrogen in check was thinking slight increase could improve numbers and symptoms
Heard increasing frequency could reduce sides such as increased hct
Also having a bit more hair loss than normal… no other side effects
Would you have an idea of what my peak would be if trough is 550?
Thanks so much
Testosterone increases metabolism, and therefore appetite so you’re probably eating more.
No, TRT guidelines (in the USA) instruct doctors to take action if hematocrit reaches 55% by either decreasing the dosage or ordering reoccurring therapeutic phlebotomies.
However, some doctors like to take action at 52%. Also up to date doctors focus more on the hemoglobin values.
A decrease in SHBG is expected, unless you have type 2 diabetes and or metabolic syndrome.
Your Total T and Free T levels are underwhelming and so you may not reap the full benefits of TRT. The majority of men feel best with Free T high normal or higher.
