Just got back my first round of bloodwork in about a year. Everything has been great, but the last 2 months my sexual function has taken a weird dive. Losing erections mid sex, can’t get an erection, low libido. Also been pretty tired and bloated and dumping a lot of sweat at night. Finally, when I realized how many times I’ve cried over trivial things recently, I had a hunch E2 might be high.
To give you an idea where my levels are normally, my TT tends to be 900-1200, FT 30-40, and E2 30 (rarely as high as 40).
What could be causing my E2 to be so high? I have gained about 30lbs in the last year (started an antidepressant, and diet/exercise haven’t been the best as I’ve had a really tough year between deaths in my family and a handful of unrelated medical problems).
I recently gave up drinking and vaping nicotine, and started T3 to augment my antidepressant (this has done wonders for my mental health!). I would’ve expected the lack of alcohol to do wonders, but it feels like it’s only gotten worse!
Any thoughts? I’ve been on TRT 3-4 years and never had this happen before, just normal fluctuations. Someone on another forum did mention it might take a while for my liver to pick up the slack again after putting down the bottle (and my liver enzymes are still elevated).
Didn’t you also start using HCG and recently fooled around with Protocol changes? Lots of changes along with the Antidepressant are to blame here. Stick with what works. A few months ago you were doing just fine. Are you still taking Cialis?
My only thought would be that your FT is pretty high, is that normal for you? A higher FT could mean more that gets converted to e2, thus the higher reading this time. IDK other than that, unless you’ve added things that could affect e2 in some way
Weirdly there have been a few days (a month ago and sometime in August) that my libido was absolutely raging. Still wish I could figure out why, and hoping it’s not the T3. That shit helps my mental health so much, I don’t know what I’d do having to decide between that and a high functioning sex life.
Well according to a certain pro e2 group its a great thing cause we all Know the higher THE e2 the better Right! The guys on YouTube told us, muh benefits!!
